Just wondering how everyone cleans their tanks as I'm sure everyone does it a bit different.

What's your cleaning routine and how often?

i clean mine every couple of days, more if im changing juice flavours.
Usually drain the tank, rinse it under the tap quick once over with paper towel and back into the device.

If its a really disgusting flavour like that custard i got last month i also use one of them alcohol needle swabs you can get at the chemist then rinse

I normally vape the same juices in the same attys so just a rinse once a week when I rebuild them. Every once in a while (couple of months) I'll throw them in the ultrasonic cleaner.

I clean every few tanks or when changing flavours.
For keeping the same flavour I just rinse them under hot water and dry before rewicking and filling.

For changing flavours I rinse then wash with a neutral soap followed by a good rinse and a wipe down with IPA wipe.

New tanks I give them a hot bath in my ultrasonic cleaner (from Aldi for 20-25 bucks) for 5 mins. Changing flavours I give top part (not coil part) a rinse under hot tap and dry with paper towel. If I'm changing coil it all goes in the ultrasonic for a bath.

When I'm changing wicks, I basically give everything a rinse under the hot tap, and use one of those tiny brushes (tattoo gun brush) to give the deck a bit of a scrub (while the coil is still in).

I pretty much have dedicated atties for each of my juices, so only do a soak in dishwashing liquid with a bit of bicarb soda every now and then.

I swish em around in a warm bowl of water... I use certain clearo's for juice like bubblegum and candy range and so forth and use others for tobacco flavours so I don't worry about coil needing extra cleaning... I then sit them in front of a small fan for about 20 minutes to dry the insides.

I have the Kanger Subtank Mini, and I clean it only when I change flavors. I don't see the point in cleaning if I'm just going to refill the same flavor considering the tank is a relatively closed system.

But when I do clean it, I disassemble the tank as much as I can and then I rinse it out under hot water with a touch of soap. Make sure the soap is completely gone and then leave it near a heater or fan to dry out.

    Here's what I usually do:
    • I remove any remaining juices from the tank before proceeding to clean it up.
    • I rinse it with tap water, making sure to remove any excess water out.
    • For the tank cap, I usually dip a cotton bud in water and clean it out.
    • I let it air dry before using it again.
I wash it every week at least or maybe more if I can.

Usually hand washed, with a small cloth. I wouldn't advise putting it in a dishwasher, obviously.

I usually disassemble my tanks and clean it thoroughly with the ultrasonic cleaner. Works well and does not leave behind dry residue that hand washing usually leaves behind and that just looks nasty in general.

I usually clean it once every 5 days or so, I throw out the liquid, I put in a paper towel to suck all that liquid left, after that I wash it with water a few times, I clean it with a paper towel again. After that if it still looks messy, I repeat the process, if not, I let it drain and after that start reusing it.

I like to rinse it out at least once a week. It depends mostly on which juices I'm using and swapping out. I might use a one of those straw brushes if it gets too grimy in there.

Q-tips and rubbing alcohol and then I run a napkin through it. Let it dry and there you have it :)

I also clean the atomizers with rubbing alcohol as well and I can usually get multiple uses out of them, too. I try to save money when I can but every now and then, I have to buy new stuff because the tanks and such will eventually be too old.

I usually use paper towels and some alcohol. Does the job every time. And my tank is really clean after that.

I don't switch up juices much, so I just keep spare tanks for different juices. Then when I do clean them, normally once a week or so, I just use a cotton swab and hot water.
