You are going to get so many different answers. I have been told to change my coils once a week, twice a month, etc. The list is endless when it comes to recommendations. My best advice to you is to change the coils when you feel it's time. You might be getting a more harsh hit from your vape or you might be experiencing a weird taste coming from your hits. I'd suggest changing your coils when you get to this point. I also find that when the juice starts to spark into my throat, it's a good time to make the change. I'd really play it by how you feel, though. Every person's experience is different. :)

I do it about twice a month, but I've heard all types of suggestions. I would imagine the amount of use has to be factored it, as well as the type and model you use. Lexinonomous is on point with changing it once it starts to feel harsh.

I think it depends on how often you use it. I vape maybe once or week sometimes twice a month so I do not have to change the coils as often as other people.

You first need to answer these questions:
    • Do you vape everyday, throughout the whole day?
    • How heavy do you vape? Do you take a couple of drags a day? Or maybe more drags than an average vaper?
    • Do you often vape fruity flavours?
    • Do you often use PG or VG?
    • What watt or voltage do you use?
If you vape throughout the day and take more than just a couple of drags each time, then your coil might need replacing every 6-7 days. If you're a light vaper or a moderate one, maybe 2-3 weeks would be enough to replace your coils.

Fruity flavours are very acidic and might make your coils burn out easier. The same goes for juices with higher VG content. Of course, the higher the wattage or voltage you use, the more you would need to replace the coils as well.
