Anybody else get this?

On my axoim hybrid I notice a brown tinge at the bottom of my elqiud through the tank I'll take a pic when I'm at my Mac but it doesn't happen with my other units(cloupor mini and subtank)? I thought it was cotton being burnt and thats coming into the e liquid but after a day's use on new wick I also changed coil and cleaned the whole Shazaam and it's already happening?? Any thoughts ;-)

I had that happening with an AGA-T5. I was missing an oring that connected the bell to the chimney and what I think was happening was condensed eliquid was working its way from the shaft back into the tank. Seems to have stopped since I replaced the oring.

I am also seeing it in a lemo now though.
I had assumed it was just diffusion from the wick in the coil (where is darkens for obvious reasons) through the wicks back into the tank.

HEdit: looking closer and the pictures yours looks darker than mine....but that might be becomse its in a thin layer at the bottom and not mixed evenly in the tank

 

Yeah its weird. I've had that exact thing happen in an Orchid. I though it was maybe just shit from the coil etc but thinking about it
now, it only ever happened with one juice. I cant be too sure but I think it was a U4EA Hokey Pokey concentrate that I made up

 

Same happens in my lemo but not in subtank mini

I have also had this happen before. I had 2 different flavors mixed together so I thought that had been the case, but when I cleaned the tank out completely, I noticed that the wicks were burned at the bottom and only after a few days of use. I replaced the tank, thinking that was the problem and mixed the same 2 flavors again to see what happened. Well, 2 days later I see the same thing happening. I just replaced the necessary parts with this one and changed juices. Never had that happen again. I think it's the way that some of it heats up. I haven't had the issue since I stopped using that juice combination.

The brown tinge is probably a result of condensation. It can also be because some e-juice is getting in the tank as well. Condensation happens usually because of chain vaping or vaping too much. It is normal and happens many times to vapers. To remedy this, you need to remove the mouthpiece and wipe the coil with a tissue. Remove some moisture from the middle as well by using a cotton bud or twisted piece of tissue.

Also make sure that your device's coil is tightly fixed. Even just a simple unscrewing of the mouth piece can cause the coil to loosen up.

Might be because you have to change your coil. I also get a darker colored liquid once I use my coil too much. Check it out once you change it.

 

That definitely doesn't look normal. I haven't' had that happen on any of mine. You might have some juice leaking into the tank.

 

Definitely sounds like juice getting into the tank and onto something that it's not suppose to be getting onto. Make sure that everything is tightened and in place properly.

 

It might be juice getting near the battery and heating up. That could be why it looks like a burnt colour.

 

missvape is right, probably just condensation. I had this from vaping a bit too heavy in the beginning and then once more when there was a little wiggle room for condensation to sneak in...whenever you are working with temp and moisture, there is a chance that things get steamed up, chemistry and physics n shit

 

It happens to mine since I stopped using it for around 3 days, do notreally what it is about but I do not really care at all, I still vape like that.

 

I still haven't it happen to me, but it's good to know that something like this can happen. It does look disgusting, I have seen gunk like that since I tried to smoke a pipe.
