I have seen it too, there is a lot more ads this year as compared to the last year. Like the above poster said, anything that moves from smoking is a good thing, so the govt should support it. But it has one con that it may bring non smokers too as vaping is also not a healthy act just like drinking. It is much safer than smoking though.

There was actually a feature story on the local news here about the very topic and it was pretty interesting. It is weird how people have so many different opinions when it comes to vaping and smoking in general. I think that it is something that we can all see happening though, and the story was pretty positive so that is a good thing.

I haven't, there is this great taboo on anything related to nicotine, unless you go into tobaccos stores. I haven't seen anything on TV or heard anything on the radio. It's like anything that reminds anyone of tobacco was wiped of the face of the earth except the smoking areas.

Maybe you're just noticing it a lot more. I feel like a lot of companies have been trying to get the word out, but I haven't seen a marked change. I do expect ads online because the moment you search for a stick or something, the search engines and advertisers pick up on that and everything from Youtube ads to fb ads, get filled up with products. Its almost like advertisers hijack our browser just to sell us stuff. But, I haven't noticed that much of a change in strategy when it comes to offline ads.

I have adblocker on my browser so I don't get to see that many adds, only the odd one that gets through. Maybe it's because of that.

I haven't noticed an increase in ads at all. Maybe for you it's like when you get a new car and begin to see that car everywhere you turn.

Well, ABP is really great. I just installed it, and I think its a nice decisions. Eventually, if an advertiser wants to get through to me, he can find an offline method of reaching out.

Yeah, that may be true too. A lot of people start noticing "red" when they are looking for it. I don't remember the exact term but I do remember Tony Robbins talking about it. The more you look for something, the more you'll see it because the mind if programmed that way. So, maybe you're just seeing more ads because you're looking for them.

There are certainly a lot more e-cig ads out there these days. I haven't seen many ads for vaporizers. I think the first ones I saw were for the Blu e-cigs.

To be honest, vape ads are rare from where I am. I cannot even recall one advertisement for vapes on television or radio. Usually, the advertisements I see are small posters around my city. And when I mean small, very small, since they're not even noticeable unless you focus on them. Weird, huh? Well, vaping here isn't really that popular... Yet. I'm hoping that would change though with the advent of vaping devices online. I mean, everyone is online nowadays, it's hard to not notice the new thing which is vaping. As much as possible, I spread the word about vaping as well on my social media accounts.

But on a side note, cigarette ads are non-existent here as well. I guess they're banned since there's not even posters or billboards about them. But that hasn't stopped people from purchasing them still. So in a way, advertising works only for a time and if people are accustomed to the habit already, even without ads, they will purchase alcohol or even cigarettes.

Actually, I haven't really noticed much of an increase in advertisements for vaping. These advertisements tend to be present on vaping sites etc, but haven't really noticed too many otherwise.

But what I have seen is a lot of interest, even from non smokers. People are coming out and actively talking about vaping, which I think is awesome!

    Later.

I also listen to a lot of talk radio. Most of the ads though seem to be for blu (which I think are GROSS) and other tobacco companies trying to get in on the vape rush. I don't think those guys are doing so great though but, I think the mom and pop shops are still doing a lot of business without all the advertising dollars.

I never really noticed that, at least the place where I live does not have them, one thing I noticed for sure, is that there was something like a "0 moment", after that I started see lots of people vaping around, everywhere, I didn't even knew how vape got so popular in the first place, it was like crazy because one day you barely heard about a person who vapes, and the next day you see strangers vaping on everywhere you look.

I personally think that it might be because the whole businees is growing up andtherefore, advertisements and publicity are as well, it will be pretty common to see vapers advertisements out the street really soon, you will see.
