sexism in E-cig advertising

it is blantant sexism!!!!

you see most e-cig ads with bcomtiful sexy women using xx type of e-cig or vape gear, but where are the muscle bound gorgeous studs for us girls to oggle?!?!?

i dont want to see pretty women, i want to see pretty men!! who agrees with me?

If ecig ads were made for the gear I use then maybe I would watch and have an opinion.

I don't even watch normal ads. TiVo ff or xbmc never watch things live.

I know what you mean, but if you look at the static ads on the vaping websites, which we all do see when shopping around, 90% are of supposedly sexy women.

if there was a poll, do you think there would be more men or women vaping?

What bothers me though is only 36 seem to be vaping....of that there are equal numbers of female as alien/other.

*I don't buy a huge amount of gear so some one must be using a massive amount of batteries each day to make up for my short fall.

In our culture, sex sells. It's as easy as that. People are likely to be more attracted to an ad with a fit, attractive women on it. It's unfortunate, but it's just how our culture works. Same for sexy males; however I tend to see more females in ads.

 

Hmmm...too bad that there isn't any e-cig ads in my country. I think I'd enjoy them regardless of whether they're men or women. Nope, I'm not bi, haha, I just enjoy seeing other's fit body which sadly, I cannot have no matter how much time I give to exercising.

With regards to the sexism, that happens in our local commercials for cigarettes as well or alcohol. There are some buff men but it's usually sexy women in the ads. It's because companies know that their customers are mostly men.
