Where can I get high quality 510 connectors?

I am working on some mod designs and have bought a couple 510 connectors but I'm just not finding the quality I am looking for.

Anyone have any links or advice?

 

I have not come across any connectors that I would call quality and on most of the high end mods you will see that they are machined into the cap rather than a china connector pressed in place.

 

Like Papa said most high quality mods have them machined in. Imho that is the weakest Link of mass produced chinese mods.

I have been getting dz to mod with the ones from good prophets.

You know the silver ones from MV are not bad, the quality is about the same from every vendor.

I think a lot of the "weakness" is how they are secured into the mods reinforcing the walls do make a difference.

 

What do you think of the connection with the nut... Haven't tried them but very interested. I have had a connector pulled out when a tank miss threaded.

Also agree with the silver one from MV. Works great and likes solder.

 

I have used them a few times, they dont like solder or at least the few I tried didnt and well after that, that was all I could take


Now I think everyone should use a shorty adapter to save the mods threads.

 

AGREED... You need an adapter on any mod over $50 or anything that is sweet and the shorty works.

 

Whoever builds an affordable, quality, solderable, low profile connector wins at life.

I'd love to see one that has a nice integrated drip well - something that would finish well on tube mods mounted with tanks.
