Is this a stand where it comes "home" to at night?
Just wondering be.comse the ProVari is probably the most sturdy mod I own when upright.

Any P+ owner will tell you it's the worst to keep upright. A slight nudge of the table and it will topple. So, I went about making a (portable) desktop holder too.


The first, half a Kinder Surprise shell with a hole cut in it.
The second, a silicon putty called Sugru that dries & cures to the shape you made. I made a mound and shoved the P+ in it and rounded out the edges.
However, I didn't allow the Sugru to cure long enough so it didn't come out quite as planned; although it works reasonably well.

On their own, they held the P+ reasonably well. However, the P+ still had the tendency to topple where others wouldn't.
So, I came to the conclusion, combine them both together! The Sugru adds weight to the Kinder Surprise shell, increasing sturdiness at the top of the shell. The kinder surprise shell gives the P+ support from the sides, rather than just the bottom.

The two together combine to form a solid mod holder, albeit, aesthetically displeasing:

I fully expect the provari police will visit during the evening and deal with you.
You should know the only acceptable provari stand is a defrocked prime minister, on knees, bum up.

I know, it aint pretty, but it beats that constant bastard of a noise when my P+ falls over with a bliSS on it!

I need a double one for my desk at work, I've started taking my ZAP to work and I'm scared it will get knocked over
