Has anyone built their own vaporiser that produces a bong/waterpipe style hit? I'm looking into making one, I have plenty of Nichrome wire and batteries of various chemistries and capacities.I am currently researching and experimenting with ceramics and wicks.

does anyone have any resources to share about this sort of device? (yes I have used the search button). I once saw a device which you screwed a 20ml bottle onto, but cannot find it now.

Any suggestions? what about a commercial product with a design simple enough to refrence from to build something similar and rebuildable? Or am I dreaming and need to just go buy one?

I thought the water acted as a bit of a filter and to cool the smoke. What benefit would it have to Vapour (maybe I'm missing something)?

It wouldn't work putting vapour through water.

You would end up with air.

I think he means more of a collection chamber and shotty off the top of the atty....long slow draw then take the hit ?...could work ???
But why?...we already take a long slow draw then take the hit

Just grab any ecig, warp the mouth piece with thread tape till it will seal in your waterpipes down steam.
Rather then vaping eliquids, if you were looking to vape some form of herb through your waterpipe, have a look at the link :D

heh, went on a houseboat trip once where the fire bucket was a permanent bucket bong.
we where all hardcore smokers, one young fella was along with us, he spent nearly 4 days passed out, would wake up, eat, go to loo, swim, bucket bong .. sleep.

he had a ball he reckoned, missed a lot of the murray ( went north from out mannum way somewhere)

    I give up. Damm comedians.

What I meant was a bong style device that pumps out enough smoke to fill a room with vapor, something hardcore that chokes the crap out of everyone

Not a bad idea, I've started a build with nichrome wire, looking for suitable wick material. The plan is to run from 12v

Hey can anyone recommend a good way to drill small holes in ceramics? I need maybe a small 0.5 to 1mm hole.

And what silicone is non toxic and suitable for this project? Aquarium silicone is acetic cure but I am unsure of its toxicity. It won't be burnt but may be heated to possibly 60 degrees centigrade.

    Thanks guys

a normal drill bit will get thru glass eventually, put some masking tape on first, add a drip of water .. any glass that gets dislodged ends up in a glass slurry in the hole, so you ideally don't want to go to fast or you lose your 'paste'.

it will be very tricky at 0.5mm

you can get glass bits, a triangle of silica carbide on a shaft, i bought a set from aldi for $20 a few months ago, smallest is 3mm though i think.

I have been considering using hot melt glue for a similar project. Cant find any toxicology reports, so must be safe!!!!
