Its pretty much the same as my last attempt with the Mk 1, but as I only use the Stardust Clearomizers, I decided I would customize this one to fit them. At the moment, that’s all it will run as the battery connection is set at the bottom of the tube to cut down on the overall hight. I will get around to building an extension so regular carts can be used. I will do that at the same time as I make the extension to charge the bloody thing. Completely slipped my mind when building it. Eventually it will use a regular eGo charger. The finished product looks a bit ratty due to the lack of the correct size heat shrink. If I do another, it will have a port for a usb charger.

Interesting use of a syringe ;)
You could have trimmed the syringe a little neater but I guess at your age the hands are shaking :p

    Thats a good point Noe

I have tried a few ways to cut the syringe and cant come up with a way to get a clean, square cut. Any suggestions are more than welcome.

A pipe cutter from a hardware store would do the trick.

Stick a bit of dowel in it so the pipe cutter doesn't crush the plastic. I have done this before when I used to make my own tanks.

Yes, tried a pipe cutter but no luck. The cutter relies on the material being ridgid to work. Just puts longitudinal cracks in the syringe

Yup pretty sure that would work assuming I had any dowel at midnight!! At some point I will try it along with a mitre box and fine saw.

A mitre box should do it. The dowel thing worked for me as I remember but it was a long time ago since I made tanks.

Yes dowel will certainly do the trick. I will be trying both methods with the dowel. Those syringes seem pretty tough until one tries to cut them. Its not really an issue, I just like to keep myself amused!!! I can live with the squiggly end, but Noe seems to think I should take more care!!!!

    Hey Rob, excellent again :)

Socket from a socket set can also be used to reinforce the syringe while you use a tube cutter. I had bought a set of wad punches and I just used one of them when I cut mine.

    Good day folks

Went shopping today and topped up on Ipod batteries and a few from the local model shop. Need to see what I can do with those. Took a trip to the local alternative smoking place at the market. Lots of herbs and dinky little knickknacks. Found some small stainless boxes used for storing “Herbs” Just the job for a small stealth mod. I just managed to squeeze a 800mah Ipod bettery in there along with the eGo switch gear. Its good to use as it cuts down on the charging issues as I need to hard wire the batteries, so they are not removable.

One little bit of t.comma was when I dropped the box before the batteries were secured. Popped all three wires on the little circuit board. Needed a couple or three drinks before my hands were steady enough to repair it. Shame whiskey does nothing for the eyes, but I am slowly learning Brail!!!

A few picks of the journey, and also blinged up the last stainless one. Should appeal to the ladies.
Good job the good lady is visiting a friend in hospital, as the kitchen is like a bomb site. Need to get rid of the smell of burning soldering flux??? Hope she goes clubbing to give me some time to clear thing up.

Yes, that is an upcoming project. Its a tricky one cos I cant figure out how the firing button is going to work. I will get there eventually. Its a cheap knock off Zippo.
