I like this guy's method of prepping (whole wick is oxidized, guess this may bring more fluid up on draw too be.comse oxidization is covering more of the superfine holes, maybe?):

Here's what I have done so far with some pix..

I ended up straightening the twisted copper wires inside to give more room for mesh, I have also placed a small piece of a radio antenna tube for the mesh to sit in (bit bigger than original hole) just .5cm length.. Also trimmed the copper a bit (dunno why; think it was be.comse of all that exposed copper, plus I didn't believe I needed that much).. Got a new soft cap off a carto and put notches on opposite sides for prongs to poke through plus a notch for needle filling and put that red washer around the threads to stop condensate leakage..

I have cut down my nic for this thing.. Also noticed that when chain vaping the condensate tightens the draw a bit too, plus another drip tip on top (which only just fit, seems to have tightened the draw nicely).. I have also *ehem* fiddled with the hole (so the top of the hole is bent inwards) a bit so now air is directed more downward which seems to have tightened the draw a bit also..

I ended up with 3/2 wraps (any more a vapor seemed hopeless for me), which seems to say 2.3ohms on my meter (could be wrong, just got it today; pretty sure its on the right setting).

Vapor is poor on my 900mah Riva VV but seems good with my Riva VV electronics hooked up to a 3000mah 18650, not sure how that works? Also seems to rip through the battery on my 900mah (probably the low number of coils?), haven't tried it for a day yet on the 3000mah.

the meter is on the correct setting, need to short the leads together though just to check what the meter says is zero.
so if you short them and get 0.2Ω then subtract 0.2 from your 2.3 .. total is 2.1Ω

Seems as though I have a LR setup @ 1.5 as my multimeter reads .8 when shorted.. So that's where my batteries are going eh =o

I oxidized the entire wick pretty well using Scott Bonner's method... it comes apart pretty easily actually and goes back together just as well! Not sure what the problem could be, I just noticed the china tube getting warmer than it should and decided to open it up and see why. My wick might be slightly long so I'll trim it down a little to make sure it's not bumping where the copper leads are soldered at the bottom there and try again. The coil was firing pretty evenly at least with no hotspots.

If nothing else it's fun to experiment with. I'm definitely going to try building my own genesis style atty soon.

Once it is in the bag , it means it is on its way to you. You probably wont be able to track it anymore.
Mine took about 9 days to get here I think.

I would agree with RC in that its not as good as the line by any stretch, moreso than what he said even, totally different vape.
its likely got lead based solder in the juice, enamelled copper wire in the juice, copper and enamel in the airflow.
Short term, good to play with and I mainly got it to have a practice with before my line arrived and for the mesh and heater wire.
Long term .. smoking may be safer, who knows maybe its perfectly safe to use. Not sure if has been approved by the phillipines health.comthoritys

As far as I can see, the parts are modified Ego pen cap tank assembly's as sold with the eGo-W

 

I think it is shit compared to a Line,

I would not even give it away be.comse of the copper posts,

I tried it just to compare and really there is no comparison.

It does work though, just not in the ballpark though.

Ok thanks for that guys. It's a shame, I really wanted to get two. I wonder if I soldered the copper posts and put a small bead of hot glue around the bottom would fix it?

 

I just got an email from Lydia (the squiggle makers wife I'm assuming). She wrote that the ones sold to the canukvapor guys got the copper wire post ones be.comse they were out of silver. she also said that they asked if copper was ok and the answer was yes. 0.6mm silverwire is used on there mod. So in saying that I am going to order 2 propper ones. I am interested in seeing how it preforms seeming it's not going to be a hurry up to ship asap poison wire rush job.
