Hey - need opinions and advice here. My line connector cracked - not completely off, but cracked around the connector and won't sit straight. It will only fire if in the correct position. Anyway - I have screwed it into a 510 - ego connector and it fires fine. What I want to know is it ok to epoxy around this to hold the line more securely (so there is no chance of wobbling). My thoughts were to do that, then buy an ego thread cover to go over the top so it doesn't look too crappy. Is this ok to do?

thanks. Was planning on sending it back asap (as you know from the pm I sent), but I was just sitting here looking at it, getting very pissed off, and I couldn't help myself. Had to have a go at getting it to work :) off to buy some epoxy tomorrow

Yeah I know. I think it's worth giving it a go though. It's sitting in the ego connector completely straight ATM. I'm not using it until it's more secure though. I just ordered some of those shorty cone covers, so will see what happens. The only downside is added length to the line, but if it means not having to send it off, then I'm happy enough. Fingers crossed it will work

well here is step one complete - epoxy done. It's actually sitting straight, but the first pic makes it look slightly tilted. Now just have to wait for the shorty thread cover to get here. But it fires which is the most important thing :)
