Recorded a total of 594 vapes totalling 43 mins 15 secs from the first charge until low battery over roughly 24 hours. Average vape time was 4.36 secs. Fark I must be vaping a lot as allowing for ~7 hours sleep that means I'm vaping for 4.2% of the time I'm awake.

Low battery cut-off kicked in when display was showing 7.2 volts even though the trip point is 6.8 volts. This is be.comse the crappy trustfire 17650s droop under load due to their internal impedance. This impedance reduces overall efficiency to around 70%. I used 8W power setting for the duration of the first run so this puts the battery capacity used at close to 1000mAh. My mods don't fully deplete battery charge so their capacity is probably around 1200~1300mAh as compared to labelled 1800mAh.

 

2x850mAh LiPo, 40Hx56Wx22D, Red/Navy roo leather. Hasn't been on the charger yet....

Updated the firmware on the aluminium version posted a few pages back to lower the battery cutoff to 6.4 volts. This increased vaping time at 8W to 58 mins 30 seconds. This puts the battery capacity used at around 1350mAHr which isn't to shappy for trustfires labelled as 1800.

The red micro version above vaped for 39 mins 15 secs on a full charge and this puts the battery capacity used at around 800mAh which is what I'd expect from the 850mAH LiPos.

Seems I'm vaping around 45 mins per day so the 2x850mAh doesn't quite last me a full day whereas others with the mini that uses the same batteries are reporting up to 2 days.

 

I love the look of these mods. Any ETA on when you are going to be taking orders?
