aramid fiber substitute for wick?

    Was just remembering back to my composates training and the thought of kevlar came up. What I remember is it is highly hygroscopic, temperature resistant and non conductive so it would work well in theory can anyone think of a downside?

    Have a wander over to the EC forum and search on kevlar. Should be some info on there from memory.
