Forgot to post the text for the above post!!!!

A couple or three of my ce2 widgets needed work to make them good again. The wicks either dropped off or clogged up. The coils were still good as was the resistance. Its almost impossible to drag a new wick through the coil. I think I have found the answer??

Beg, borrow or if all else fails, buy a set of sewing needles as per picture. In the kit is a needle threader. If you cant figure out what its for ask the wife!!

The picture is not so good, but the wick is threaded through the thin wire on the needle threader and slowly worked through the coil. It helps if the wick has been soaked in PG or VG.

I have renovated three so far and they work like new. Not saved much cash, but it kept me out of mischief for a while.

The cartomizer coil is next, as an experiment. I will pull a wick through and make it into an old ce2 tube, just to see what happens?

Forgot to post this one!!! Its your choice if you cut the loop or just pull one of the sides through for a single wick.
I have done both and they both work well View attachment 929

Interesting thought. I actually have some wick at home, just need to find a sewing needle and I will try this on one of the CE2's that I have that I dislike the current wick on.

A couple of the needles in the kit will take a new wick, but are a little big to go through the coil. Its the needle threader thingy that you need. I think the kit was only a couple of dollars at Woolies.

CE2's when in a nice tank properly set up work brilliantly and taste 3x better then Boge cartos do. Ive currently been running the same CE2 now for two weeks. Im doing 5ml of juice a day.

At the end of every day when I need to refill I take out the CE2, boil it until the wicks are white, dry burn it, return to tank, fill and vape away. Its so easy, takes minute and it tastes great and clear everytime. I cant believe its lasting so long.

I did however order some of the older CE2's by mistake and the wick sucks so id like to replace the wick in em.

    Hi Jato

I think all my ce2 are the old type?? For the most part its pretty much all I use. I have never run them in a tank as such, but well worth a try. The ones I have hold 2.5ml of juice, so not so bad. I hate to throw good money away!!! All my failures so far have been the wick. Never lost a coil.

Hey Jato do you just boil the whole thing? Or do you just have the wick/coil submerged in water?
