This mod has a AtMega328p micro-controller with a Nokia cell phone display. It is powered by a 20C Lithium-Polymer battery. The boost circuit is the good ole PTN04050C.

    Voltage Range: 3.78v to 6.38v

    PARTS:
    ATMega328p AVR
    Nokia Graphic Display
    PTN04050C
    20C lithium polymer 3.7 battery
    1 amp USB Charger
    100 Amp Sensor
    Parallel 5.1A PTC resetable fuses
    5A On/Off Slide Switch
    18 gauge wiring
Aluminum Enclosure (size of a pack of cigs)

    Maximum Results so far:
    22.78 Watts
    3.38 Amps
    6.3 Volts output

The PTN04050C is spec'd at 12 Watts, 2.4 Amps yet I was able to achieve the above results.
This mod is far superior to the DNA mod on output wattage and amperage.

    Always impressive Breakthru!!!

I'm going to have to betray my ignorance here. I'm assuming the MCU is what's doing the display. Does it come pre-programmed or what?

Oh, wow, another awesome creation. I love that all-on-one screen. Totally ingenious, without having to click through mega times to see what you want to see. Your work is always amazing.

My bank account would always be wearing a ZERO if you sold what you make and display.

Based on the chip he's using I'd say he programmed it with an Arduino.

Nice work breaktru . Love the size ,that must have been a mission. I wish i had the time to really get into building mine but its not looking good. What amperage sensor are you using? Is it running straight into the adc pin of the uc?

nvm on the amp sensor .I see its the standard acs712. How do you have it connected though? Is it from output on the 4050 to amp sensor to resistor divider for reference then into the adc of the atmega?

Very cool. From your pics, it looks like a train wreck that turned into a Ferrari of the ecig world. That's an awesome looking mod and I love the size.

    TY Sheyna,
I get confused easily and clicking buttons for mode choices bugs the hell out of me. So.... having everything displayed is a necessity for a simple mind like mine.

That's correct Chaos. The display is controlled via an ATMega328p micro controller that was programmed with the Arduino compiler.

I did straighten out the train wreck, squaring off parts and critically placing them so I could squeeze everything in. That and a shoe horn.
Still didn't make cutouts for the usb connector and the on/off switch on the bottom cover. Was waiting for a different on/off sw which came to day.

Very cool. You have a way of cramming a lot of goodies in a very small space. I like that. :)

I'm with you on that. That's why I do not have a Provari or the like. I think this is totally awesome.
