    Hi people

This is for the ones that like to mess around and build your own tanks, and generally experiment. I have played around with wiring grommets and plastic tube etc. Always the limiting factor was the integrity of the grommets and tube. I think I have solved that problem.
Head off to your local two dollar store and get a pack of two bottle stoppers, as shown in the picture. Drill out the small fulcrum pin holding everything together and you will end up with two silicone rubber plugs, one hard plastic plug, and an end plate. The silicone plugs are a perfect fit in a ten mil syringe. Use your imagination for the rest? You end up with four plugs for two dollars. The red colour is a bit marginal, but I think they do them in different colours.

Yeah, nice. Saved me a lot of time wandering around misc stores looking like I'm completely lost or looking for something to steal =P

Thought I got the smell out of my last experiment with the seat buffer rubber after zapping it with vinegar in the microwave but the smell just keeps coming back, meh, was worth a try.. At least with these things you know they are designed to be in contact with foodstuffs.

    Shoppin' time..

    Hi Slothy

Nice find on ebay, but over twice the price? I have been seeing these for a long time at the dollar stores. It was always my retreat when the good lady was out shoe shopping. Saved me answering the question " Do you like these" and "Do they suite me". Never managed to find the right answer!!!

Well, I just added it as an option. I find those stores are a bit unreliable as to what they have in stock at any given time. Worth keeping in reserve at least.

Yes Slothy, couldn't agree more. Its always good to have other options. You are right about the dollar stores, its end of range, over runs and junk like that. I do remember seeing them in Kmart. Cant remember the price though

How would these go to make a ce2 tank?

Dont know? The grommet depth will certainly be enough to hold anything fitted through the hole fairly rigid.

Have to try this out myself - I've a few CE2's that are too short for the EPM tank.

Might need to keep the last 5-10 mil of the ce2 tank in place to hold it.
That is, cut the tank just leaving enough at the bottom for a friction fit. Without the tank, there isn't enough of a cylinder to hold the CE2 inner
in a stable fashion - hopefully you can translate my babble into something understandable :)

Wonder if all the vapeheads in americaland know about this.
This could be something very big. Probably be a world wide increase on the sales of bottle stoppers. :p

Found this bottle seal at Pick-n-Pay whilst I was out this morning. 3 for $2 but only one seal on each. The seals are so wide I've cut them in 2 and 3. Very tight to fit but that makes the tank quite rugged. The seals are so tight they end up about 50% wider once fitted. Easy to fill with an 18g needle between carto and barrel from the mouthpiece end whilst holding it upside down.

Might be able to use a boge silicone cut condom as a seal for the driptip on a 3mm syringe.
