Cheap and Easy 3.7v juice feeder mod

Here is the first bottom feeder mod that I ever made. Looking back, its really pretty sloppy but it worked really well and served its purpose. LOL. I think I had about 8 dollars in material and about an hour and a half or so in making it. Originally it had a 7 color changing led inside that lit the bottle up and was really neat but it drained the battery pretty fast and I removed to be able to stealth vape better.
If anyone would like instructions or a parts list to make one yourself, i'll gladly post the information. A dremel is helpfull and knowing how to solder is a must but its really easy and it works well. I present you The 8 dollar juice box!

The hole is just big enough to press the bottle with the tip of your finger.


Here is the inside with a trustfire 900mAh 14500, gosh it looks sloppy now! lol. There is a nut on the switch that holds the cover on. But I remember it lasting me a full day on a fresh charge and at that time i was only vaping about 2.5-3ml a day so it was pretty handy. I could take off without carrying juice or extra batteries and it pocketed very well.

 

Nice!!! Having made a working though very sloppy rendition of something similar, I'm very interested. I do have some questions.

I'm assuming that switch can take the amps. It's not a mini tactile switch. Looks like I see a tube in the bottle so it's not tilt and shoot. I'd like to know more about what's happening at the top of the bottle. It doesn't look like a cap with a hole drilled in it with epoxy putty glopped over it. In fact it looks like you solved one of the problems I had with mine. It doesn't look like the atomizer will tilt when you tilt the bottle for filling. So you could put a finishing washer on there to catch drips, if you wanted. Are you transitioning to a metal tube somewhere in there? If so, what are you using for a feed tube? Does it protrude into the atomizer?

Sorry for all the questions. In no way is any of this intended as criticism. I'm genuinely interested. I still have enough stuff to give this another shot and I just might.

 

I admire both of you. I don't believe I could ever make my own, even a sloppy one.

That's the one I made. If you go far enough into that thread (please don't ), you'll find a picture of my first attempt. I did a little better on the second one. However, if you look closely, I think there are some important differences here. I think that 510 connector is stationary. That's why I was asking about that part of the device.

On the one I made the hole for the atomizer connector is loose. You tilt the bottom of the bottle up and everything tilts including the atomizer connector. Once it's tilted, you can hold the top and unscrew the bottle for filling. If you look at VV's effort, it looks like he's got a stationary atomizer connector. That's why I'm so interested in that.

This is an excellent tutorial and the basis for the mod that I made here.

 

Yes the copper tube, comes through the connector and onserts into the atty/carto, bottle cap and connection are all epoxied together. I did not glue the connector in place in the box, instead I made the whole assembly removeable. makes it much easier to remove and fill or replace the bottle.
