taps&dies Those are Chinese junk ! From testing most Chinese taps , You would be lucky if you could thread cardboard with them ! Also that die is chome steel not hss , Chrome steel = SHIT From over 30 Chinese brand taps we have tested only 5 taps were ok and 0 dies, Most problems were not from the quality of steel but from the grinding , sizing and quality control . They produce rough threads and a loose fit, which when threading aluminium is very important.
