shotty mods

im really sorry for the lack of updates guys but ive been as crook as lately and have struggled to get things done in the shed
most of the major stuff is done so its just the fiddly little bits to be done and then they will be ready for send off

ok ive finally done what ive needed to do complete this next batch
aprt from testing and packaging which is no big deal
they are lookin good too
heres a line up with various atomisers fitted to them
510 / 901 / 801 / 901-808? carto / 510 carto

yes indeed those 801's i would have got from heavensgifts
the 510's with the band around them are from eastmall and take a good thrashing
ill just post here that the shotty is made to take standard atties - no need for hv on these at all
cartos work ok but thats just my opinion after 10 minutes use before i tossed em in the bin
if you are a carto fan you should be fine
im not as i drip vape which is an awsome way to vape instead of messing about trying to fill those bloody cart things

Cheers Billy I got mine this morning but have not yet had a chance to use it. I'm on my way home with it now, will give it a charge and then fire up the 801 atties on it and see how it goes.

ok im just going to put in a little about batteries etc
links to the batts that i use from dealextreme

and the charger which does 3.0v or 3.7v via a switch on the side of the unit

it is also circuit protected which means that once the battery is fully charged this unit will actually stop charging the battery and just maintain that volt level , nice and safe
heres a line up of batts together so you can see the relative size of them

the shotty mod is made to take 2 x 3.0v /3.6v cr123 batts nice n snugg
if you are using the 17335 batts you will need to place magnet spacers to make up the difference in battery length
so fit these in as shown

the arms of the mod are adjustable and can be removed for cleaning
just loosen and undo the little bolts and pull em out then lift the connector bridges off while pushing down the central wire
juice can accumulate in the contact area if you drip vape like i do
so if the vape feels as tho it is getting weak despite fresh batteries you may well just need to remove the atty's and give the wire end a bit of a cleanup
if you drip pour like i do and end up getting juice all over everything then you can pull everything off and give it a good cleanout

when loosened the arms are free to be adjusted to a wide range or removed completely for cleaning
the way the connectors are set up nice and open its very hard for it to get clogged up at all
