So I've decided to buy meeself a feeder mod, continuing the trend of a PV a week :)

I'm am tossing up between these 3 :

    Monkeyboxx VV : http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...volt-monkeyboxxvv-variable-voltage-model.html

Really like the look of this - reckon it would feel nice in the hand and be cool to have laying around. VV is a big plus. Only concern is it will be too big to throw in my pocket and walk around with it. About $210 plus batts and charger delivered.

    VVPV : http://www.notcigs.com/products/VVPV-.html

Dont know anything about these other than the basics off the site - will be approx $190 plus postage and batts / charger. Looks cool.

    Super T "The Precise" 16340 @ 6v kit (atty/batts/charger incl) for $180 + a Vapemate for $60 = $240 plus shipping from http://www.supertmanufacturing.com/id73.html

This setup looks sweet - all shiny stainless and v nice engineering. Cons - not VV and I'm not sure how robust it would be in the pocket with a bottle of juice hanging off it (compared to the box mods??). Another big plus of this setup would be that I could run a straight atty or carto off the end of it for a bit more portability..

The Reo Grand http://www.reosmods.com/ - $140 plus atty plus batts plus chargers plus shipping.

Again, a real nice looking mod, robust, 6v but not VV.

Kinda leaning towards the precise...but would enjoy your thoughts learned Vapers :)

I don't have any of these mods to comment, although i do have a Reo Grand waiting for me to pick up at the post office. VV wasn't really a factor to me when choosing a feeder mod be.comse i already have a ProVari. Also, with it being a feeder mod i doubt i would be switching atty/carto and juice that often to need it to be a VV device. If VV is important to you, you may also want to check out the Ali'i. I was thinking about getting a monkeyboxx myself but decided to go with the Reo as it is alot more durable and with it being 100% mechanical, there is probably alot less that could go wrong with it compared to something like the monkeyboxx, ali'i.

Also, with the Grand being able to do 3.7v and 6v, like Mick has mentioned in other threads you can also purchase 5v batteries for it if you want something in between.

Can't provide much feedback as i dont have a box mod yet.. I'm pretty much settled on the reo mini i think lol.

I know it might cost a bit more, but what about a provari with the vapemate instead of the precise ?

In love the look of the 16340 precise, but with the vapemate just not a good look for out and about. I i also have a glv2 supermini which is the size of my thumb, and smaller than the precise, but even that with a maptank is a bit much to pull out at a res.comrant or club. With a carto or clearo it is a great little stealth machine though. Also like the glv2 i dont think you can sit the precise up on its end. Not the end of the world but surPrising how it is annoying at times. It is a classy looking pv though, and a vapemate is good but not for out.

I have a reo mini and am looking to get the reo grand to use at 5 v. They are the smallest of the 18650 box mods and you will mever find a bad review. Biggerbthan the reo mini but still fine For out and about. If you want a grand this saturday morning is your one chance for the next 6 weeks.
They are not vv though so i can understand why you may want to try the other options.

The vvpv looks good but release has been delayed and no reviews yet. On the surface would be my second choice. But would need to wait for specs and reviews so maybe another 6 weeks away.

Monkey boxes are good, the smallest of the 18650 box mods, but bigger than a reo grand. Not a bad buy but i would prefer vv a ali,i for the same price, if i was to get a wooden box mod. They are in my opinion pushing the bounds of jeans friendly/portable mods. If you dont want a vv, then the monkey box is a cheaper option than the ali,i.

Thanks for that Mick - I agree re the 'out and aboutness' of the precise. I reckon you would be arrested on suspicion in about 2 seconds flat walking past the cops sucking on one of those lol. Also hadnt really thought about not being able to stand it up - Im not sure if having it laying down all the down with the vapemate would make it leak?

I have a few 510's/901 and the ego-t now, and dont mind pulling out the (white on white) 510 in public - most people would just think its an Alpine from a distance I expect.

I'm keen on the grand - I think I'll try and snag one - so Sat morning you say - I couldnt find on reomods site what time specifically. Even if I decide to get another boxmod, I'm sure I wont have any trouble selling it given how in demand they are.

I havent really looked at the ali yet - I'll check it out. Thanks for your thoughts.

I have the provari .. and the vapemate is on the way, well tomorrow it will be I think, sounds like Mr SuperT went away for easter and left an.comtoresponder to do his emailing for him.

I have never been keen on the sad plastic bottom feeder mods, though after giving up on tank attys this week and losing my 306 has forced me to go an old boge carto. I was suitably impressed, seems like all these need for performance is a few more watts than an ego gives em and a good quantity of juice. wet is good. hence the vapemate decision.

IIRC he puts them up for sale on the site at 7pm eastern time (US) on Friday night.

For everybody not in some freaky moon timezone, that means 9am AEST. He says on the site, the 28th or 29th. For us that would be Friday or Saturday morning
