Simple 510 Drip Tip -> 306 Mod

Just thought I'd share this in case it's useful to someone else.

I really like how my chrome 510 drip tip looks on a chrome 510 atty, but, of course, it doesn't fit on a 306. So after looking for a chrome 306 to buy (to use with my pending Reo) and failing to find one, I found a Youtube video of a guy explaining (but not showing) how he made a 510 fit on a 306.

What you'll need:

• A 510 Atty that you don't mind ripping apart.
• An empty cart / cover - the ones that come with a 306 when you buy them and normally discard.
• Your 510 drip tip of choice (duh).
• Your 306 (double duh).

1) Get a screwdriver or something and rip out the bridge, mesh, coil, wick, whatever you can get out from the open end of the 510.

2) Use some pliers to rip off the battery connector. This can take some doing, and you also want to be careful not to mark the chrome atty and ruin the finish. A mate of mine has a wood vice, put it in and banged it out with a punch. Way easier.

3) Cut a small ring of plastic off the 306 cart / cover. Not too much so that it goes all the way up to the atty itself (see pics).

4) Put the plastic you've cut on to the 306, the empty 510 over that, and put on the drip tip.

Easy, and snug as!

Good simple solution. Super T are hopefully going to make a stainless steel 306 soon, but it has benn on then off then on many times. Dont know why someone else isnt making them, i was looking for one the other day too.
