My spin on the Denali

So I took Mamu's denali and mixed in zack too and this is what I came up with. I am still waiting on the clearcoat to dry

Clearcoated case (ohhh nice and shiney)





zeener diode connected to the OKR-T/6-W12-C (extra under current protection)



10 amp high current switches



510 connector with well



all the wiring to be fit in once it is all dry







The paint has like 6 coats on it and I am working on the 6 clears for it. This was just V1 and I already have new plans on V2 coming along and might sell this one off.

 

Wow! I love that blue. It looks like metalflake. What't the voltage range on that thing and what battery(s) does it take?

 

Yep it is blue metal flake! It takes 2 18650s and the voltage is 3-6 volts.

You would think so but I don't have 1 blue mod yet but I have 3 purple mods. Go figure. LOL!

 

Yeah I am a big fan of blue myself. I should be doing the final build tomorrow. Putting on last coating of clear coat on tonight. I did order some waterslide decal that should be here in a few days and I am going to add something cool to the cover. I might do a custom decal on it for the person who buys it lol

 

Ummm.....I probably shouldn't ask this but.......have you set a price on this mod?

We need a palmface icon. I miss it.

I haven't at this time. I would be open to offers that are reasonable. I will list some of the features

first off this is a direct rip off of Mamu's Denali and Zack.

OKR-T/6-W12-C 6 amp 30 watt switching converter with tantalum capacitors
zeener diode - low voltage cut off - shuts power off to unit when batteries get low
10 amp high current switches
2 amp stainless steel push button
uses 2 18650 batteries
switches are off/on and vape voltage/battery voltage

I guess it is more specific 3.6 - 6 volts

At first I really didn't want to sell it until I realised I had enough parts to build like 3-4 more and I came up with some case changes half way through the painting of this case.

 

Well, that doesn't help much but it's probably out of my price range.

Oh man! You're killing me here. I wouldn't go putting a bunch of decals on it though. It looks great just the way it is.

 

No way just a small something to make it look cool.

 

Pictures don't even begin to do this any kind of justice. It is like glass on top of the case. It is so heavy and think

 

The one in the video had a couple of toggle switches. Will this one have them also or is this finished?
