I have all the hardware gear that I need to start making my own juices, but Im not sure what flavours are essential.

I really prefer deserts and coffees. I run out of them the quickest.

Which ones I will find myself needing for nearly everything ? (and brand name please)

    Many thanks.

    Nearly all of them. :)

Can get really expensive if you try to have a complete 'library' of flavors to start with - I'd suggest find a few recipes you like the sound of online, and grab those ingredients - and if a flavor is used in more than one recipe, then perhaps get a bigger bottle.
Eventually you will end up with a huge collection, and probably a lot that you use very infrequently.

lol - go to coles (the baking section) and get yourself some Queens flavourings to test out your DIY skills - just check the main ingredient is PG not water. They cost bugger all and its a good way to get used to things.

    Another vote for canuk ecigs.
Their lemonade is great. Tastes just like lemonade iceblock, great for a summer vape ;)
I drip it at 6 to 7% so works out pretty cheap.

Iv found this approach the best myself. After buying 30 concenitrates and receiving 20 or so for free from a mate I jumped in the deep end making ridiculously crap flavours and was lucky enough to make 2 decent ones after god knows how many attempts. Started looking for recipes online and following them, they taste good and its given me a better idea on where to start with my own creations.

looks like im going to get everything from the Juice Factory. They have an excellent range.
I just dont know what flavours to get.
I know i need chocolate, coffee, vanilla, banana, strawberry etc. Not sure what else I would need.

Do i buy TPA / TFA or JF Gourmet Super Concentrates or what ?
Should I buy all the same concentration ?
Its all so confusing. Too much choice. its great but its doing my head in.

If it says that 'The recommended percentage for DIY ranges from 1 to 2%.' does this mean that a 10ml bottle is enough to make 100ml at 2% ?

    2% off 100ml is 2ml lol
2x50=100% therefore 10×50=500 ml if I'm not mistaken (I have been in the past)

Regarding super concentrates, they're good on saving money and cans help to use them if you plan on making max vg mixes. The jf ones Iv tried are grear so far. Blackfire 3% is in my rotation. If you follow other recipes you'll find other brands like tfa, capella etc. are more common due to their availability globally.

As for flavours it's completely up to you mate. Just a side note, not all flavours are the same between brands. Im still getting my head around the difference between brands myself. It's a long, slow process...as criss cross said, patience haha

No, at 1% it means 1 litre at 2% it means 500mls.

% is a ratio, not an absolute.
    100ml with 10% flavor would mean 10ml flavor, 90ml nic/vg/pg
    50ml with 10% flavor would mean 5ml flavor, 45ml nic/vg/pg

So % is a ratio of the total end volume required - meaning the ratio may stay constant whilst the volume changes.

Get yourself some Cappela Vanilla Custard , French Vanilla ,Cream ,New York Cheesecake , Caramel concentrates (only some of the ones I like)
These don't all have to be Capella .
Handy to have some sweetener like Cotton Candy or Ethyl Maltol as well :)
Suggest you check out Juice Concentrates - Juice Factory
Yes you can mix different brands of concentrates ,also I suggest when starting out start small then when you find something that you really like make larger amounts.
Keep a written record of what you mix (if doing your own not from a recipe.)
The main thing is to enjoy it and remember us when you make up something brilliant :)

  13. holy crap that stuff goes a long way then.
Thanks for the info ppls. Im going to stick to 1 brand for now to avoid confusion and then branch out from there.
I'll mostly be making cappuccinos and strawberry vanillas for starters.
