    Hey All,

So running low on juice, and having my doublers and some more nic turn up Friday, last night and today were mixing day!

    Creating base:

    All mixed up - labeling:

On labeling - this batch I used the avery online tool....

Proof Sheet - all images from Vapoureyes website - used without permission - have sent a note to Morris...hoping he doesn't mind, but I remove them you will know why!

Be.comse these are Vapoureyes doublers but are mixed with Nic, I put a disclaimer on the label:

    Printed Labels:

And final bottles - ready for steeping!

Now off to do the steamers labels!
Of course I am not selling them, and my wife doesn't understand why I don't use tape and a texta, but I was pretty happy with the result, and I think they look a lot better on a shelf now :D

If you are looking to create labels, the online Avery tool is very very good - recommend highly!
(Bit of a tip though - in my first print test, the labels printed over the score lines and so were useless....if you do use the tool, make sure to leave 1 square in the background grid that displays when making the label - will ensure the design fits on the label correctly!)

    Nice one,

really, in your own home, you could put pictures of a nekkid Scarlet Johansen on the label, and no one could stop you :) nor would you need permission

That reminds me I have a sample of Lazer Lombardi here thats been steeping about an hour and a half now so she should be right to go. Might clean out a dripper and give it a run.

I am jealous of your set up Skovillle - it looks so damn professional!!! I am looking at my plastic bottles with sticky labels and sharpie writing and I've gotta say.....I'm kinda judging them now rofl

I should look at the pic of your set up to inspire me - but somehow I think I'll end up making a Swedish Chef from the Muppets effort of it all rofl.

lol - just an old desk from work in the corner of the garage - must be the .comghters artwork on the wall makes it look professional!
I actually had a lot of fun doing it though, but now it's done, am glad it's not going to happen again soon any time :)

    And the 're-invented' labels....

made using steam doublers, but as per earlier in the thread deciding I can do what I want :p

    The Re-invented range:
    Energy Drink became "Accelerate"
    Banana Custard became "Andy's Ride"
Sins of Vanilla became "Graffiti Angel"
And Inferno stayed inferno but with a new label.
(Also had some Plime, but forgot about it, and now can't be arsed anymore)

But all up - fun way to spend a few hours in between yard work and beer!

Now - if you'd like to checkout this site I am building......

    I JOKE!!!! I JOKE!!!!
(Far too lazy for that shite :) )

Skowie, I'd pay you to print me some labels like that, just the pictures with enough white space for me to texta in the flavour and date.
That's a first class bit of work.
Think about it. I'm sure others would to.
Are they printed on adhesive paper, to make it easy to stick on the bottle?

Thanks Dis - was happy with them myself :)

And yep printed on adhesive label paper - address labels, Avery L7161 to be exact.
Thing is, I don't think I'd do it this way again - aligning the printer is a pain in the behind, and I never got it quite right, so had to reduce the size of the labels a bit...
In future, I think I will use the Avery designer, and use the L7161 template but make them full size - by which I mean right to the edges of the template.
Before you print it actually converts it into a PDF, so I think if I have a heap to do, I'd take that pdf to office works or quick print and have them print it on adhesive photo paper, then just use a craft knife to cut them out - no drama about alignment, you can trim to size and costs about $1.10 a sheet.

I dont think AVF has file hosting?
If you like, send me your email, I'll send you the templates that I used - you can then go to the avery site, use the online tool and open them - then you can see how I put them together, and all you need to do is click into the the text boxes and change the text, or delete the pictures and paste your own ones in?

You had to be as awesome as me to get WFWG3.11 on a CD.

In a cd inserter with the metal slide across section too.
