Comet Tank (beta only)

I have a brand new Comet Tank which over the next few days I shall jot down my opinions and thoughts.

Here is a pic of one on a Twist beside a standard comet on a mini.


This tank does not accommodate a standard Comet CE3 it uses a carto which is purpose built for the tank and this is where it gets interesting.

The Comet carto looks much like a flanged smok tech DC carto until you look down inside it when you will discover that it is almost entirely empty. If you shine a light down it you will see some wick and coil sitting at the bottom.
Effectively it is just a much larger version of the standard comet centre pinn but it's the size of a DC carto.

Testing over the next few days will show if it will work in a smok tech tank. My neighbor has one and said when he has to fill it next he will attempt using the Comet carto which I gave him to try.

The tank itself is very similar to the smok tech tank and it may be fractionally larger.

Filling is also the same as the smok tech , push the carto down and drip down the side into the tank.

There are two main advantages which come to mind with this system.
1. You will never get a mouthful of juice, any buildup of condensation or juice in the chamber will simply drop back down onto the coil and get boiled away.
2. If you are having trouble with wicking you can easily drip some juice directly onto the coil to get things going again. This is a magical feature for what is essentially a CE3.

The draw is much stiffer than a standard Comet but vapor and flavor are much the same .
