so i bought this glycerol from gold cross, anyone else using these? (Questions)

For people who r using gold cross as VG, do you guys dilute this with distilled water or PG to use as E liquid?
if so, do i need to dilute this first and then add PG to it?

you can use it, undiluted, but it's not the nicest. my first bottle was GC.

I now get mine from a healthfood shop, SF brand "natural glycerine, vegetable based"

i believe GC may be animal based, still glycerine, but not the best

 

Hi gusah you need to mix the VG with PG, I don't know anything about Gold Crosss but if you buy your PG & VG from here eBotaniq.com.com - Home it is good value. More VG less throat hit and less flavour, a lot of people find 70%PG/30%VG is a good mix and a lot of people like me mix it 50%PG/50%VG.

gold cross is fine to use. it is just vg, so you can use it either with or without pg. some people do vape 100%vg juice, tho some devices struggle with it, as it's fairly thick and doesn't wick terribly well. from what i've seen, the "average" ratio is around 80%pg to 20%vg. vg will give more vapour and pg will give more throat hit and carries flavours better.

you do not have to dilute it before adding pg. if you want to use it without pg, it might be a good idea to add a couple of drops of distilled water to allow for better wicking. i've heard of people using vodka to dilute it a little bit, too.

the ratio fo pg to vg is a personal thing and it's a matter of experimenting to see what suits you best.
