Do I need to keep uncapped juices away from each other?

Hi everyone I was reading on a website about steeping and they suggest to keep uncapped juices away from each other? As the different flavours can effect each other. Is this correct?

    Seems weird to me.

Do the flavour bits come out when you're not watching and party with the other flavour bits?

I wouldn't be overly worried about it.

probably yes, if you've got strong juices, but really, perhaps a different shelf if you are really keen?

I don't, but it's not like I have a eucalyptus menthol steeping next to my banana cream

And don't put your glass of rum near anyones bourbon. You don't want your rum tasting like dirty bourbon ;)

Thought it's better to ask than find out the hard way since I was told not to store concentrates that are in the fridge in plastic since fridge smells can go through plastic

My car uses high octane premium fuel and it always runs bad if I fuel up next to someone fueling with standard fuel.

    Joe,
I never have mine uncapped when steeping and they turn out fine. If there's any truth to that "myth" then the fumes can breathe when I take the cap off (including nozzle) every couple of days for a quick sniff to see how they're going before putting all back on prior to a good shake.

Leaving the cap off (including nozzle) for any period of time is inviting trouble from any nasties that may be floating around or even crawling around in the dark recesses of your vape station or drawer.
    Cheers
    Sodd

I too was kind of not liking the idea of leaving them uncapped either for the same reasons but I guess it's the only way to evaporate any alcohol in the concentrates. I'm guessing it probably helps speed up the process too

The only reason I wanted the bottles open is to evaporate the alcohol
