Sucralose

Hi All.

I was wondering. I need some more sweetener.

Has anyone tried using the sweetener from the supermarket?

Woolies and coles both sell a liquid sucralose sweetener, and i was wondering whether one could use that in their mixes.

Does anyone have any knowledge about this?

I'm not 100% sure on this but if I remember rightly anything containing sugar is not good for attys etc and prob not your health, if I was you just use ethyl maltol for sweetener. Maybe a more informed DIY person maybe able to help you out. But personally I wouldn't use it

 

I haven't used it (be.comse I don't have a sweet tooth and i find everything already too sweet).
But most people who like a sweetener use EM or cc

Otherwise try a search on ECF forums as they may know someone with uses splenda/sucralose (could explain why everything is super sweet in the USA lol)

I have never used the low cal sweetener with water. I use ethyl maltol crystals mixed with pg. It is pretty much the same thing as cotton candy flavor. Some people may be sensitive but I have never had a problem. 1/4 tsp mixed in 10ml warmed pg. I use about 6 drops per 30ml.

I should clarify i'm talking about buying the liquid sucralose sweetener

 

VK sweetener is sucralose but I don't no if it's powdered dissolved in PG which would be my guess but I've found this sweetener is like em or cotton candy on steroids
