    Hi all,

I've noticed most of the local vendor sites that sell PG/VG seem to be selling food grade - if they declare the grade at all.

Does this concern anyone else? Chances of issues are probably low, but seems like unnecessary risk. Also, I would assume they make their own juices from the same PG/VG.

I just visited my local chemist and got some pharma-grade. A bit more expensive (chemists all seem to have insane margins for some reason), but still we're only talking ~$20 for 200ml+100ml. They were quite interested in having a chat about e-cigs too.

PG and VG come in various grades of purity. Pharmaceutical grade being the best (and this is desirable if you're inhaling it!)

Not related to the PG/VG ratio of a mix.

I guess it's possible the vendors are using USP/BP pharma grade, but can't label it as such be.comse they're not divvying it up in a "class 8 clean room" for individual packaging.

Not sure what the definition of class 8 clean room is, but I can be fairly confident my workshop won't make the bar anyway!

Yep that is the reason it cost a fortune to have class 8 clean room most seller will buy pharma grade but once they repack into smaller bottles they can not claim pharma grade
