    Hi All,

Does anyone know where I could buy some wide tip serological pipettes? This is primarily for VG liquids. I vape high VG (only the flavours are PG) liquids and need some wide tip serological pipettes for it.
All the sites that I looked at sell them in bulk, and I definitely do not need 200 of them :). If anyone knows where I could get them, or if someone has a couple spare that I could have (would gladly pay for them and the shipping), it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone,

Hi Addy. I have normal pipettes from some lab place locally, and they work okay for VG, but the best way I've found to measure it is to use either a glass measuring cylinder or use a 10 mL syringe with the plunger removed. Put your finger over the pointy hole and pour it in the top, then either let it gravity feed through the pointy end (patience required) or pour it out of the fat end. Sticky tape or clear nail varnish over the numbers will ensure they don't wash/wipe off after a couple of uses. Another useful tip is to put everything else into your bottle first, and then top up with VG without needing to measure. I've never found it necessary to be accurate to the mL with mixing my eliquid. I suppose you could measure the bottle first and put a line on it where you consider it 'full'.

Thanks MrsG (and bugzme :) ). I've got syringes that I used but I just prefer using pipettes with a pump. Much easier to fill multiple bottles at once, and since I have to make sure that my fiance, her mom and I have enough liquid, I need to do multiple bottles :)

I just pour it straight from the bottle into a 30ml bottle. I have it down to an art.

I pour straight into one of these medicine things .. then use syringe (any size) without the needle .. originally for VG but now pretty much everything .. it's quick and easy :)

I grabbed most of my measuring gear from Mad About Science lots of handy Lab supplies at reasonable prices

Pipette and Pipette Pump is pretty handy for accurate measurements, but a funnel and a range of various measuring cylinders is a bit more convenient. (50ml, 100ml, 250ml are handy)

Have you considered pipetting by mouth?

A frowned upon method these days in the science industry, but if you're not dealing with toxic substance or infectious diseases, there's no harm.

Edit: Scratch that, I can see you use VG nic, which is something you wouldn't exactly want to accidentally get in your mouth at large quantities.

You may not get the results you're after by using pippettes with wider tips.
For viscous liquids Positive Displacement Pipetting is normally recommended.

But those suckers are damn expensive.
