1.8 mg Nic Reduction

Hi all, i hope there's someone here that could give me some advice. I have been vaping 18mg Nic juice now for around 11 months (yep, no more stinkies for me !!! eaceful: ) and i would like to slowly "downgrade" on the 18mg nic juice i have. Is it possible that i can add something to this juice to make it say 16 mg strength?. All help much appreciated.

If you only want to drop the nic % from 1.8 to 1.6% (i.e. 18mg/ml to 16mg/ml) you could "water it down" with some Glycerine (VG). You can buy this from your local Coles, Woolworths, pharmacy. There's a brand called .comlding (you'll see it printed on the bottom of the bottle. It's about $8 for 200ml.

If you want to "water down" 10ml of your 18mg/ml eLiquid then just add 1.25ml of Glycerine and give it a shake. This'll result in 11.25ml eLiquid at 1.6% nic.

Thanks for that, I have pure VG so i just add 1.25ml to 10 ml. will this "lower the taste/flavour ?

 

Logically yes, It will dilute the taste. Maybe not such a bad thing depending on your juice.

I recently tried some peach flavor, it had a strong smell and it was like vaping baby poo... :grumpy:

It was 10mls @12mg/ml and I added 4ml VG... Much better, lighter taste.

 

just a hint - there are much better tasting options for VG than .comlding. Try a health food store. for me , .comlding brand = last choice.

I doubt you'll notice any difference to the taste akef38 not with the amount you're adding. Enjoy.
