Mixing Method

Was testing flavours and decided to mix a large batch of vg, pg, nic without flavour. Then add flavour later.

For single flavours at 3%, 1 dop in 1.6ml. Single 10% flavour, 2 drops in 1ml. (large drops measured in syringe were 0.05ml)

Got me thinking I should do it for all mixes. Minimum flavour is 3%. Maximum flavour is 10% for most. I decided to use 6% as standard for calculation.

Mix up batch without flavour but still calculate flavour at 6% without adding it

When you finally add flavour, you get;
- 15mg nic mix at 6% flavour = 15mg
- 15mg nic mix at 3% flavour = 15.5mg
- 15mg nic mix at 10% flavour =14.4mg

I've found it such a small of difference in nic amount makes no difference to how much I vape. Saves a lot of time when mixing.

Decided to do after vaping 40mg and found I just vaped less. Not a problem be.comse nic absorption is slow.

 

I have 100ml bottle mixed at 50/50 w/ 12mg nic.....unflavoured. Sometimes I just vape that, sometimes I pour some into a 10ml or 30ml bottle and add flavour. It's just easier when I'm on the road. Mostly I use super concentrates so 5% is the most I'll use so the nic variation is negligible.

 

I was thinking about doing this, and have just ordered a bottle of 50/50 vg/pg. I just didnt know if the nic variations would drop down too low. But at 5% flavouring i might give it a go. Woulnt it stuff the nic levels if the flavouring % was higher though?

 

I keep two 50ml bottle on the go . . . I vape at 14mg . . . using the 36 mg I have mixed it down to two differant - clearly marked bottles

1 x 14 mg - 70 / 30 PG/ VG mix - used for concentrates . .
1 x 28mg - 70 / 30 PG/VG mix - used to mix with "Doublers"

Makes mixing up a batch of RTV juice a lot easier - especially when trying new juice / flavours out . . .

 

I've been testing for a month now with;
- 9mg. I chain vape at 9mg
- 15mg. I vape less
- 40mg. I vape much less.

I have not seen a change in 9mg chain vaping. Same as before. Will have to test for longer to be sure. ATM I don't think it matters what mg I vape at since vaping does not mimic the rapid absorption and peak you get from smokes.

This could explain why I like to chain vape. Using 6mg.

Will hopefully have some nic tomorrow and play with the levels.

rollies. 1x30g pack a week. 20-30 a day with micro filter(5.6mm).


If you vape at only slightly higher mg, you'll more than likely get a headache from being over nic'd. You need to learn how to detect your new nic level. It was easier for me after vaping 40mg. Still managed to get a headache now and then on 15mg from over vaping.

I think I'll settle on 18mg for a while.
Exprimenting with high vg again atm.

 

Hi all... I've been vaping Pre Mixed & today got my first doubler... I have 20ml/g nic unflavoured & plan to mix it 50/50 to end up with 10ml/g.

What is the best way to mix & would be ok to vape straight away ?
