    G'day Again,

My question is exactly as it appears in the title, How much flavour is too much? What percentage should you not exceed?

My "vapors tongue" is driving me crazy and I'm dying to taste those delicious flavours!

By the way, I started on 24mg, then went to 12mg as I was feeling a bit sus, Now I have gone down to 8mg Nic and I feel fine! (I vape a lot!)

    Cheers!

What brands of flavours are you using? Some are very strong (JF Super concentrates at 1-2%) and some not as concentrated (Flavor West 20-25%)

As a general rule start low, and go up, With FW I start at 5% for multiple concentrate mixes, and start at 10% for single flavour mixes. With the Super Concentrates, I start at 1% , then test, then add more if needed. TPA I treat the same as FW and Capella. There are some flavours such as coffee that you should be very careful with, start very low with drops, TPA caramel cappuccino is one that I only use 1-2 "drops" per 10 ml of liquid, and many of the coffee flavours are the same. Sour flavour, and sucralose should also be only used in drops.

In other words, start low, test, add more if needed, test, and write down the amounts you use, and the flavours you use, as you go along, (keep a mixing diary). Nothing worse than mixing up a great flavour and not being able to repeat it :)

G'day Spud, I get a day out of my coils and notice a tapering off in performance through the day. By the time I get home from work, Im hanging to throw in a new/rebuilt coil!

I will look into the kayfun, hopefully more reliable. Any particular model?

Also, Iv noticed a significant difference in flow between my 2 identical protanks (something to do with the base).

Gees its warm here! 35 Degrees in April??????????????????

There are lots of good kayfun style atties around, or you could get an original one. I like the rocket V2 as its ss and comes with easily adjustable air flow control, and a very reasonable price for a good solid atty. Rocket 5ml Rebuildable E-liquid & E-Solid Usable Airflow Adjustable Atomizer - Stainless Steel Color - Rebuildable Atomizers I use make a micro coil with 30guage Kanthal wire, and use cotton balls as wicks, (there are heaps of vids on youtube showing how to build these things with micro coils and cotton), and when you notice a change in the flavour, you can simply give the coil a rinse and quick dry burn, and replace the wick, I usually do this once a week. The coils themselves, (if you build a good one), can last a month or more, all you need to do is change the cotton ball wick.

Drippers are also great if you are testing a lot of different flavours, just whip out the wick, thread a new one in, and onto the next flavour. I use the Igo-L or the Igo-W drippers. But the tridents are also good, as are many others. I find the Igo's really easy to build.

It comes with a clear tank part that you can replace the middle part of the tank with. Its good to have both, as you can use the steel tank part if you have juices that can crack plastic, and the clear part for all your other juices. (Some citrus juices can be really bad tank crackers, and I like citrus juices, so very handy to have both.

They are also super easy to clean, when you want to change flavours.

You also get spare screws, and a 510 drip tip adapter in the box :)
