Interesting, I've always found the opposite, that higher vg tends to mute the taste a little, (not a huge amount but noticeable). I found I get a lot more flavour using the dripper or the kayfun, and have adjusted my mixes to allow for this, and also had to drop my nic level be.comse I was finding it too high when using the RBAs, compared to the evods or aspires. Bit of a mystery Sodd!!

It basically lives in my dripper now. I'm going to have to try yours out next, I think i'm missing a few flavours though.

I'm afraid my taste buds have gone on holidays (without the rest of me) and I'm just vaping PG/VG/Nic with a bit of sweetener.

Everything else just tastes like kitty litter (I have not vaped kitty litter for the record!)

It tastes as good as anything at the moment and will do until the ingredients arrive to make Spud's/Dogman's/Nasha's recipes!

    Frustrating!

Spud have you tried the JF English toffee.

I gave my girlfriend the t-juice minty the toff and she loves it. So now she wants to create an old fashioned English mint toffee.

Yep CC I have tried it, and its great, but for your friend I would recommend using the FW butter toffee, instead of the English toffee, as it would be closer to what the real mint toffee taste like. Maybe with a little bit of caramel, (just a tad).

    Which caramel do you suggest.

I don't have any of these concentrates so I can see another order coming Tom's way. :D

The super concentrate caramel is good, same with the capella caramel, Tom's got a few different ones, and they are all pretty good, the FW salted caramel is really yum, but not for this recipe though :) but definitely one to try if you like caramel. If you get the SC caramel, you would only need a few drops in this recipe.

The old tongue is a bit better now thanks mate!

Hey I made 3 30ml lots of your Vanilla Cake recipe last night and I love it!

I think I'd prefer it a little sweeter (bit of a sweet tooth!) but I'm scared of wrecking it !

    Any suggestions ?:cocksure:

If you like it sweeter, just add about 3-4 drops of sucralose, (no more or it will be all you can taste :) )

Glad you're enjoying it :) I've got a very sweet butterscotch toffee recipe that I've been playing around with today, which I'll post if its any good. Will be a good one for sweet tooth peeps :)

    3 or 4 drops in 30ml?

Hey I just found out something interesting, I was finding that my wicks were burning and found that by changing to watts rather than volts on my mod seems to give more control over a wider range.

At the moment, I have it set to 6 Watts which is right at the bottom end when using voltage control. My coil is about 1.6 Ohms (tested with a calibrated process meter courtesy of my profession)

Sucralose is up to 600 times sweeter than sugar, so yeah, 3 or 4 drops in 30ml is plenty :) If you use EM (ethyl maltol) instead, (my preference for sweetener), you can add about 2-3%, personally I think EM has a nicer taste than sucralose. I sometimes find that sucralose can give a slightly acidic taste to a mix.
