Vanilla or Chocolate recipes ?

G'day,

I am new to mixing and would like to know if anyone knows of a delicious full flavoured sweet Vanilla or Chocolate recipe (brand of concentrate would be great too).

The ready made ones I have tried just don't have much flavour (IMO)

I have all the other ingredients other than the Ideal flavouring concentrates.

I would like good flavour, smoothness, and a bit sweet (My first attempt tastes like a newspaper )

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I might add that the best vanilla that i'v tried is from veppo (Where I bought my first E-Cig) except $$$!!!:hopelessness:

 

i just made a vanilla butter, which was 50:50 vanilla and butter health cabin concentrates. i got about 8 days out of it before vaper's tongue really kicked in, but i found the addition of butter was a real win

I reckon I have the dreaded vapers tongue at the moment .comse everything I vape at the moment seems to taste quite ordinary!

When I first started, I seemed to taste the flavour a lot more.

How do I fix the old tongue and still get my fix? Maybe I'm vaping too much!

I make one that has become a bit of a favourite :

Vanilla Cake

10% TPA vanilla cupcake

10% FW yellow cake

5% FW french vanilla

5% FW butter cream

2% EM

Needs about 3-4 days steep, its nice, not too sweet and really vanillery (I just made that word up )

Vape either flavourless, or a peppermint or menthol, and have a few teaspoons of apple cider vinegar. I find if I just vape a peppermint or citrus with koolada added, that vapers tongue is gone in a few hours

But seriously that sounds awesome! Can I ask what PG/VG mix you use and what the heck is EM ?

 

One that might satisfy both chocolate and vanilla - Cookies & Cream

12% FW Cookies & Cream
2% Vanilla
2% EM

EM is Ethyl Maltol aka Cotton Candy. Essentially a sweetner/smoother

PS. Spud - This is better than my DIY recipe

 

I vape pretty high vg , 20% pg, (most of this is from the concentrates and nic base), and 80% vg, for most of my mixes. I have a slight intolerance to pg. If you vape higher pg you might need to bring the flavour % down a bit, as high vg juice often requires slightly more concentrate to get the strength of flavour.

EM is Ethyl Maltol, available from Juice Factory. You can buy 10 grams of crystals, and add this to 100ml of pg, giving you a 10% solution of EM which is what the standard solution seems to be for vaping flavours. 100ml will last you ages EM is used as a sweetener, but also to smooth out the flavour mix.

 

I have FW sucralose, Is this the same sort of thing as EM ?

 

Sounds really yum FW cookies and cream is also nice with a bit of vanilla ice cream flavour

 

Nah, sucralose is a lot stronger in sweetness, (I only use sucralose in drops be.comse its sooooo sweet). EM is a sweetener but nowhere near as strong, and has its own flavour, sort of fairy floss.

Best place for concentrates is Juice Factory, they have a huge range, and are best on price as well. Tom and the team have excellent customer service, (lol sounds like an ad for JF), but seriously they are the best

Funny you should mention the VG concentration Spud.
I recently made up some experiments going to 50/50 instead of my normal 70/30 and noticed a big increase in flavour hmmmmm.
Now I am wondering how can this be ? when you are supposed to get maximum flavour with a higher PG concentration ? Same concentrate percentages just different PG/VG mix ratio. It's now got me thinking about going higher with the VG.

Anyone got any ideas why this would be so ? Changing tastes perhaps ? It sort of makes sense be.comse PG is bitter and VG is sweeter but this goes against what is generally accepted.

4% Vannilla Bean Ice Cream (FW)
4% French Vanilla (Capella)
4% Vanilla Cup Cake (TPA)
4% Vanilla (Juice Factory)

 

lol, I'm vaping this right now, its an awesome recipe SMU , tastes just like vanilla thickshake
