Can someone out there tell me what ACV is ??

    e.g. ACV 2 drops

I've come across this term a few times now while looking at DIY recipes and wouldn't have a clue what it is.
Also I don't have any Almond Amaretto and never tried it. Would 1% Almond and 3% Jamaican Rum get me close ? This is for a Bobas Bounty Clone I came across and thought I would give it a try.
    Thanks in advance.
    Cheers

Apple Cider Vinegar = ACV :) If you're gonna use it get the organic one, (the organic ones can be cloudy in appearance but taste much better). Great for those times when you are having vaper's tongue, or any sort of digestive issues as well :) Useful stuff. My Gran used to have a spoonful after her evening meal, its great for older people as a digestive aid, as we tend to have less stomach acid as we get older, and digestion can suffer. Old dogs and cats can also benefit from a teaspoon of ACV added to their food, as they also suffer from decreased stomach acid when they get on a bit.

Put a recipe with it in up here so we can have a look and we can probably work it out once we have seen it.

Here's the recipe Wayno. I got it from Electronic Vaper UK ???

    BOBA'S BOUNTY CLONE –
    By boomerdude
    25/75 PG/VG 10 mls 12mg.
Ideally this should be 95/5 VG/PG with some water or alcohol added.

    Nic Juice 1.2 mls 12%
    PG 0.25 mls 2.5%
    VG 6.55 mls 65.5%
    Black Cigar ( H ) 0.4 ml 4%
    Tuscan Reserve ( EcX ) 0.4 mls 4%
    Almond Amaretto ( TFA ) 0.4 mls 4%
    Graham Cracker ( TFA ) 0.4 mls 4%
    Coconut ( TFA ) 0.1 mls 1%
    Cinnamon ( FA ) 0.1 mls 1%
    Tobacco Absolute (TA) ( PG ) 0.1 mls 1%
    ACV 2 Drps.

I don't have any Black Cigar so will be substituting Cigar Passion.
I don't have any Almond Amaretto so was thinking of substituting 1% Almond and 3% Jamaican Rum
And was also thinking of running this at 50/50, 18mg. I've got all the calculations from my ejuice me up calculator. Must admit I've never tried Bobas so will just be running a 5ml batch to begin with. What's people's thoughts ?
    Cheers

    Avtek,
Found what seems to have been the most voted recipe over there. Like I said ..... needs a little more thought before I do anything but I think my notes down the bottom (trying to translate into workable percentages) have translated what Sad Society is saying to a certain degree.

    Boba's Clone #7
    Black and Mile Plus 40.0%
    Cinnamon Danish Swirl 20.0%
    Almond oil 20.0%
    Coconut 7.1%
    Graham Cracker 7.1%
    Vinegar 5.8%

    But before making that.
Add each individual ingredient flavor to a separate bottle. At 15% flavor to base.

So 15% Black and Mild flavor to VG/PG (depends on what you want your VG/PG ratio to be) in a separate bottle. And 15% Cinnamon Danish Swirl flavor to separate bottle, with VG/PG and so on with all the flavors used. Do the same 15% with all other flavors in separate bottles. This is where an Ejuice Calculator is good to have.

Once you have all flavors in separate bottles each mixed at 15%, then you can mix the recipe to the percentages the way it says. Such as...40% Black and Mild...but not straight 40% Black and Mild Flavoring. Just 40% of what you mixed before at 15% flavoring from the separate bottle. This is as clear cut as I can explain it. And if you don't understand...I can't help you.

My Notes: Translation from 15% base mix and the drops are going by the number of drops that my dropper uses to the mil, so you may have to translate to your own dropper
    5ml X 33drops @ 15% = 25 drops (percentages taken from 25 drops)
Black and Mile Plus (cigar passion) 40% = 10 drops or 6%
    Cinnamon Danish Swirl 20% = 5 drops or 3%
    Almond Oil (Almond) 20% = 5 drops or 3%
    Coconut 7.1% = 2 drops or 1.2%
    Graham Cracker 7.1% = 2 drops or 1.2%
    Vinegar 5.8% = 1.45 drops (round to 2 drops) 0.87% (round to 1.2%)

    Cheers

i havent gone though the whole of the above yet sodd but just wanted to say that when they list a flavour - you should confirm which brand they are talking about

    they all taste different

also prediluting the flavours is good idea - ive never got around to trying that - it means you can mix smaller batches more conveniently

We use ACV and EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) in equal amounts as a salad dressing.......if that helps at all....:)

  15. That is a fair amount of coconut and graham cracker.

    Avtek,
Yep, I know what you mean and I do that myself (definately makes life easier) but there were no brand names listed.

BTW ..... I just noticed that if I substituted the Almond for Banana and dropped it to 1%, Substituted the vinegar for Butterscotch, Upped the Graham Cracker to 3% and dropped the Black and Mile Plus to 5% then I would have a Gorilla Juice Clone LOL
    Cheers
