Horchata Base

Don't ask me why but I bought 30mls of concentrate????? :hororr: Anyway the question is, has anyone had any experience with this concentrate (from TPA). Does it need to be mixed with another flavour or can it be and what flavours would be best or is it perfect on its own. The flavour is a Mexican rice drink flavored with cinnamon and vanilla.

Never tried it so I can't tell you much about it. Recommended starting off percentage is 5% (from Cap or TPA ?) but I found this thread for you.

Had a quick squiz through it and it looks interesting, one I may muck around with in the future.

I like horchata sweet and strong but couldnt tell you about precise measurments.. it really is a good vape on its own and there is a definite difference from dripper to standard atty .. if adventurous and after you made your first batch of plain try a little banana or toccacco flavour with it

 

Hi Ginar, I use this concentrate quite a lot, (my SO calls it horse chatter hehe), its great mixed with any custard flavours, (mixed with capella vanilla custard it is lovely), or creams, even nice with chocolates, or cake flavours, such as cheese cake, or cinnamon roll, or you can mix it up on its own. I use it at around 5% if mixing it with other flavours, 10-15% if mixing it up as a single flavour. It doesn't do so good with fruit flavours, and I haven't tried it with any tobacco flavours yet. lol, 30mls is gonna keep you going for a while.

 

30ml? At 5% that will make 1.5litres, right? You must love the stuff lol!

 

Nope, never tried it and am writing this purchase off to a blonde moment or maybe a Mount Gay Rum moment.

 

Ok, just mixed some up and I am in Lurve!! WOW can't wait to see what it is like in a few days time after a bit of steeping but vapable now. Think I may have found my ADV. The cinnamon is the dominant flavour but it is smooth, yum, yum, yum, off to make 1.5 litres.

 

If you like the vape.. then strongly suggest you try a version of the real thing.. I do a cheat version from time to time at home and its almost to die for

 

The creamier flavours will come out after steeping, I reckon at least 2 weeks to really get the best from this one. Had the same experience when I tasted it for the first time, and it is the main ingredient in my Horse Nog recipe. Don't know why its not more popular, I think it is nicer than a lot of the custards I've tried. I've also made up a mix with a coffee concentrate, to see if it will be a good mix. I'll post the recipe if it turns out well after steeping.
