yeah, my menthol also reminds me of mint, not so much sweet, but everyone's tastes are different. It's not bad, but could do with more 'hit'

For the eyes, leave the glasses - hold down the control button and roll the mouse wheel up... :)

Someone else askes about menthol last night - one of the vendors replied - they had like 6 different ones....

So I got some lorann 1dram concentrates today - $3ea at a local supplies shop. Being keen, I mixed up a yummy Banana Cream and Bavarian Cream 18mg mix... as usual, couldn't wait for it to steep, and it's lovely. I also got some chocolate, cola and cheesecake flavors, so combined with the HC concentrates, I should be able to make up some nice ones...

I posted in the other thread, (what are you vaping one), but will ask again here :) Would you be willing to pick me up some Lorann flavours when you get some more, and post them over to me? Of course I would send you the money for them and the postage cost if you would be happy to do this. I want to try a few of the Lorann flavours, but I live in the middle of nowhere, and there isn't anywhere apart from ebay, that I know where to get them from.

Maybe someone could start a co-op for those of us that have no access to these flavourings :) hint hint!!!

Just PM me if you can do this, (if you can't I will understand).

More than happy to help Spud, I have posted some links in the What are you vaping right now thread.... There is an online shop that offers flat rate postage. But again, I'm happy to help out if you want.

Esperance is a nice part of the world from what I hear !

Hey Altered1, just checked out the link, and put in an order, thanks so much for the link, their prices are pretty reasonable as well. Thanks for the offer of helping out, you certainly have already. BTW the other link you posted , the planet of the vapes wiki, is also a great site for info on concentrates, worth a look for anyone interested in what concentrates are safe and usable for vaping. :)

Yep, Esperance is b.comtiful, but the tyranny of distance is really noticeable when you see something you would like, but you have to always order it and wait. I guess thats why waiting for vape mail is not such a big deal for me, I'm used to it :) You know what they say WA stands for, Wait Awhile! :)

I won't start a new thread so will ask the question here, if I made a good DIY recipe and a mate wanted some but wanted something that was easy to mix. How would I make a doubler in the ejuice calculator?, surely it wouldn't be double strength of all the flavours or would it?

    Well Wayno,

It could be that simple :) I guess it comes down to the VG PG mix, as you are correct in doubling the flavour.

Say you make up a 10ml mix that your friend likes... you could use the same amount of flavour, and only use half the PG/VG (nic included if he wants) mix, you friend then adds his own PG/VG, lets it steep, and then away he goes

no there would be no nic as that would be up to him, so what would it be then? just make up the mix at double the strength at say 70PG/30VG as an example.

Just seems it would be pretty strong.

thats what i'd do. if he wants exactly the same, he has to keep the same PG/VG ratio though. all he is doing is bulking it out with the base liquids. leave the nic (if any) out of the calculations for the ease of it.

remember, he is not going to vape the doubler, he will dilute it by 1/2

I just put the percentages in eJuice Me Up for 10ml at 70/30 normal strength not double and I know his nic strength is 75/25 36mg so he would just mix up 1.1 ratio is this right?

Good I think I got it, I am having a beer with him on the weekend and just bought him an EVOD to try, I hope I can dazzle him with brilliance lol.
Now to work out do I do it before or after we start drinking lol.

haha be.comse he has a slightly different PG/VG mix, it will be slightly different. but you are only talking 2.5% after mixing - I doubt anyone could tell the difference. using a doubler would drop his nic content to 18mg

you only need to make your "doubler" up to 5ml, and you friend adds 5ml of his 75/25 36mg base to bring your juice up to what was specified in the program

Update on the HC flavour concentrates...

The fruit flavours, I just cant seem to get a mix that tastes great. they all taste slightly odd. I was hoping I could get them to taste like the HC premade liquids I have tried, but just cant seem to get there.

This is single flavour mix only, if i add vanilla or menthol, it's a little better. Maybe more steep time required

Have not had this problem with the coffee flavour.

    I'll keep trying

Hey Altered, have you purchased Lorann concentrates from an actual shop in Melb? If so, could you tell me where it is please? Google is just not playing on my team today. Thanks

    Hi Avtek,

This is a good guide to the lorann flavours, what can work, and what can't : Guide To Flavouring - Planet of the Vapes Wiki

There were lots of flavours. if they did not have it, I'm sure they could get it in for you as well.

The flavours I got were all indicated as being water soluble

I just didn't get any of the flavours in red from the link above.

I put an order in with these guys, Cake Decorating - Gourmet Foods - Baking Supplies - Blackwood Lane - Victoria - canada ,and they were very good on customer service :) Hopefully I'll get the concentrates next week.

I also chose all water soluble flavours. Looking forward to trying these :)

Hey Avtek, if you go to the wiki page that Altered1 posted just above, you will find out which ones are oil based and which ones are water soluble. I just cross checked when I did my order.

These guys seem to have a better range of flavours
Cake Decorating Supplies canada and I have also put in a small order with them. They don't have paypal, but they do direct deposit into their account, so payment was easy. I have ordered some of their emulsions, (also water soluble), to see how they go.
