I don't want to clutter up the recipe thread too much, with discussions, so this is just to let Jenj and a few others that were interested know, that the rumballs recipe is now in the DIY recipe thread

Lol, I made a small 10ml sample batch, and when I went to check it after steeping, there was only about 1ml left, (think my SO likes this one), so I made a big batch today, and will send you a sample of the new batch, along with a couple of others you were interested in. The SO has been singing Chef's "Chocolate Salty Balls" song while I've been mixing today lol, he really does like to suck on my chocolate, (rummy), balls!

 

Speaking of chocolate salty balls, have you ever eaten a salted caramel tart? Bloody sublime!

I'm vaping an ejuice that has this taste, a hint of it anyway, and if you could whip up something like that with a pie crust/graham cracker base...I'd marry you.

 

I've tried something similar but butterscotch instead of caramel, yummo.

I cbf with DIY juices tbh. I tried it some years ago and it just never came out as good as the stuff I purchased so I just gave up. I probably didn't let it steep long enough. Now I don't have the patience for it.

I haven't eaten rum balls in years and you reminded me of them and how much I used to love to eat em. I like those ones you get with the little chocolate sprinkles on the outside instead of the coconut coated ones - I think they're the german variant. We used to get them in a white packet and I could easily down the whole packet in one sitting. Now to find them again....

They've got those little rum balls you speak of with the chocolate sprinkles on them at Aldi's at the moment, with their Xmas goodies. I bought a bag last week and they were delicious. Only 99 cents too! Don't know if they're exactly the same ones that you like but Aldi's is a German company, so they might be. Bloody b.comtiful IMO anyway and cheap enough.
