Im working on a tangy/sweet mandarin and orange vape with a slight cool at the end that is coming along nicely but need some help in rounding off the flavour. At the moment its ends rather sharp (acidic/bitey if that helps) not heaps just a little and am looking for that sweet lip covering cool.

    Any suggestions?

I don't have any suggestions.. but it sounds like my kinda juice.
I've been loving citrus flavours, and my favourite ATM is is eBaron Frozen Orange.. it has a touch of menthol.

Sounds good greg. Ive been stuck on the citris for a little while now although I switch it out throughout the day. ATM its Virgin Vapours Butter Mint with the morning coffee (Its absolute gold in the morning with coffee to get me going!!!) then switch to MB's Solar flare (This is what im sorta aiming for just sweeter with a cooler finish), then switch it up again at night. Im mixing up a fair bit of different flavours at night so the dripping atties getting a hard work out...lovin it!!!

You could try a couple of drops of "smooth", or add a little bit of ethyl maltol, both will calm down the acidity a bit. Sometimes I find that adding a little bit of sweet cream, or even a tad of vanilla custard also helps.

Cheers Spud. What and which "Smooth" are you suggesting? Dont have the "smooth" or "EM" at the minute but have some cream and custard on its way, was going to dabble with custard pies/creams next so when it comes might just try a few drops of cream. Its bizzare, the taste is there, its sweet enough after the weeks steeping as its settled down and meshed together nicley but just ends a bit sharp. Might also try a little more VG, at the moment its 70/30, might whip up another one this arvo 50/50 so ill have both ready for the cream addition when it arrives.

Present mix and also at weeks steeping

    Mandarin 8%
    Orange 5%
    Stevia Liquid 1%
    Koolada 1%
    70/30

Maybe should have gone with the orange cream not plain orange, then again I like the tangy burst the orange gives.

duke I have been playing around with citrus/menthol mixes and it wasn't until I found FA's MTS Vape Wizard that I could smooth the acidic edges on one of them.

Maybe try that? I got mine from Vaping Cobra, and it does give things a nice roundness and smoothness.

Ah thanks KBM I was trying to think of the other one, Vape Wizard has the same effect as "smooth", its a masking agent as well, both do the job nicely :)

The "smooth" is a masking agent, and can sweeten slightly, but far less than EM, you can get it from Juice Factory, and a 10ml bottle will last you ages, as you only need a few drops.

The cream will work as well, and even cappella vanilla custard can give a nice finish.

How similar are the two products Spud? The "Smooth" compared to the Vape Wizard? I am about to put an order in to Juice Factory, and that will be my last concentrate order for a long time, so intend to stock up on everything I need.

Very similar in effect KBM, smooth seems to have a little more sweetness than Vape Wizard, and works better with fruit vapes IMO. I use both, but mainly use Vape Wizard in dessert flavours.
