Diy menthol

Can I use peppermint extract from the supermarket to mix into my tobacco flavors? I've read Alot of ppl use it ?

Or wherecan I get menthol crystals , in Brisbane hopefully? Or a good menthol concentrate ?

I'd recommend getting one of the concentrates first before stepping up with raw ingredients, but if you're going to jump feet first, youtube, google, and proprietor know how is your friend

I haven't played with the crystals yet.
I would not use the flavourings you can get in the supermarket - they're simply not concentrated enough, and can contain a lot of colouring which you really don't need.
However, you can fool around with essential oils.. only a single drop at a time though. You seriously need to invest in a dripping attie to experiment with these sorts of things.
I figure if we can heat them in oil burners, and inhale the vapour safely, then it's quite likely reasonably safe to vape as well, especially since a tiny amount goes a very long way.

Except many of these "essential oils" are made using carrier oils like grapeseed oil or almond oil, which really isn't good to be adding to vaping devices. Make sure if you are going to try essential oils they are 100% pure distilled or pressed & don't contain carrier oils.

You can also get menthol crystals from compounding pharmacies. I paid around $5 for a 200ml size container when I was desperate one day though running out of juice.

Actually while we are on the subject, and before someone else asks anyway, or even sits reading and pondering without necessarily posting a question on here, why do the menthol crystals I purchased actually resemble crystals. and the menthol crystals picture on the Vaping Cobra site look like powder?

 

Menthol crystals can be had from any chemist but you'll be shocked at the price.
Nor does anyone need 25g worth.

I suggest buying the 10% diluted stuff. You use 1 drop per 15ml of Ejuice As for the crystals iI think you use one tiny shard to 10ml PG
It's crazy potent stuff.
