Lovely late night strong vape. Have upped the nic back up to 18mg for this one from my usual 12mg. FA Mocha @12% 70/30-delish !
Sounds nice, I have just tried two of my own mixes, made with capella drops, Peach and apricot made with 12mg, not too bad but needs sweetener in it and might try a bit of cream too just to smooth it out, My Banana Custard, well, I am blown away with it, its lovely and only been steeping 5 days so I am pleased with how that came out. I am having difficulties with chocolates and coffees, they are really not turning out to well. my coffee I have made I wonder if I should just try adding sweetener and cream to it as it smells (and tastes) like burnt espresso LOL..Ohhhh the joys of DIY xo
Yep, after vaping my Strawberry Shortcake and Caramel Banana Pud the Mocha is quite bitter but has it's place but in short bursts at 18mg, this is the first time I have tried the Coffee mixes and yes they are bitter compared to the Dessert types I have been using during the day, Iv'e got quite a few Coffee's-rather than add EM or something I think maybe soften it with another similar -like cappuchino or expresso rather than come out of type
Coffees and chocolates seem to be the most difficult to get right! I've been trying to get a good one for 8 months lol Lorann's Mint choc chip is about the most chocolatey that I've tried (10%), but the mint part is very strong.
Yeah most coffees are rubbish but there appears to be a new one now, TFA Kona. I've heard it's really really strong but might taste ok? Other than that maybe use dry ingredients to make a coffee flavour. Might come out better.
please excuse a noob. how do you use dry ingredients to make a coffee? i.e. instant coffee steeped in pg for an amount of time? say 6 weeks? maybe heated for 30 seconds in the microwave initially to get the coffee to dissolve? my caramel mocha's from two different vendors taste like sweet popcorn. but i'm suspecting i'm making them too strong...and i may need to add a cream flavour to bland it out....i've got catalin cream and i just heard about Dihydrocoumarin...was thinking these might round out my caramel mocha to just about right. appreciate any input really good to know about the FA mocha Saxien...also a noob question...but is that flavour art or Flavour apprentice? also beth where did you get your banana custard from? did you use capella's to mix banana and custard? or is there a banana custard concentrate? what bout your coffee concentrates?
"really good to know about the FA mocha Saxien...also a noob question...but is that flavour art or Flavour apprentice?" TFA-tastes just like burnt toast, it's not unpleasant just has a bitter coffee aftertaste, coming straight from my dessert vapes makes it more noticable-just thinking how to lighten it up without ruining it as I don't want to completely mask it
LOL..you and your popcorn I used capella Vanilla Custard and my banana I added was just a banana doubler I had which needed smoothing out as it was quite strong on its own so I though..mmm..a custard will be nice I think I need to add some sweetner now though after vaping it for a bit more. Next time I might try adding some Dihydrocoumarin too xo Oh my coffee concentrate ..that was from eciglife, they're flavour concentrates are a USA blend I think.. mine really needs working on though
i got the Aldehyde C 18, which is probably more a straight up coconut, going to replace the dripper with on of the silicone ones for smaller drops as this is strong stuff. also finding the Banana and Apple flavours become overwhelming after steeping in the shortcake recipes, the ripe banana especially--going to halve the amounts I use now as they mute the Graham Cracker (clear-no caramel) bases,as I love the old cheesecake biscuit
Well, now that Iv'e got burnt toast down to a T (aka Mocha), I thought-well what goes with toast?--Jam of course!. So made this up- 30 drops of original made up mocha 10 drops of ripe strawberry 2 drops of fresh cream. Tastes exactly like jam on toast, the mocha is still there and the strawberry jam comes in on the exhale leaving a slight sweetness. Endless experiments in progress.
Flavour Apprentice Mocha Flavour Apprentice Ripe swrawberry Flavourart Fresh Cream. Dang this keyboard's dodgy shift button
