so I was wondering what are the pros and cons of using vg based nic or pg based nic for mixing with your juice

and what do you prefer and why

I have brought 48mg vg based nic as my first lot of nic and I'm finding it's working well for me in my mixes so far and I vape at 12mg currently

PG be.comse PG is more expensive and harder to get. You then use VG as a cutting agent which can be bought almost any where.

So for instance to make 10ml 50/50 mix you add in
    2.86ml of nicotine PG,
    2.14ml of VG.
    5ml of doubler 100% PG

My first order was VG nicotine. Since then I've always bought PG be.comse it's easier to make 50/50 mixes. If I run out of VG i can always race to the plaza and buy more VG :D I can't find PG anywhere around here unless it's a pharmacy -
    david craig $36 for 500ml.

    VG is $4.75 for 200ml.

Of course you can buy from ebotaniq which sells it cheaply but postage ontop.

Majority of people buy PG nicotine.

As there is no price difference between PG or VG, Make the company pay for it :D

VG be.comse of a PG allergy. Through experimentation and many mouth blisters and rashes, I have discovered that the maximum amount of PG I can have in a liquid with continued daily use for 14+ days is 30%. Any higher and it's a train ride to discomfort and illness for me.

Yeah PG here, for similar reasons as neo... plus i use so little VG anyways it just wouldn't work for me.

PG for me too - PG can be stored for longer as I understand it.

PG due to longer shelf life.

gotta say recently have been vaping 36mg 100% pg menthol while in and out of hospital and my vivi head seems to be lasting a lot longer, not really sure if its the pg aspect or the simplicity of a menthol mix, but its a lot kinder, still get quite a bit of cloud as well, just not as thick as a vg mix

Pg nic - lasts longer and doesn't stink like VG nic.

PG nic - for all the reasons already stated-longer shelf life, easier to source VG if I need it (which I hardly ever do) doesn't stink like some VG can. Buy it by the litre and I just don't run out like I used to.

Also easier to use, doesn't have that viscous, snotlike gluggy thickness.

I have had my first bit of smelly nic recently-and it was around 6 months old, mixed with 50/50 PG/VG, and smelt like dirty feet.

I have always used 100% PG based nic, for the reasons posted above & also be.comse PG base has antimicrobial properties, meaning it is less likely than VG based nic to become contaminated with bacteria or fungi.
Also I prefer a higher PG content in my juice, since it carries flavor better & doesn't gum/gunk up coils as much as VG does.

    How does 7.86ml (that being 2.86ml PG + 5ml PG) in 10ml equal 50% ??

I use PG nic for it's shelf life too ...

    Another vote for pg nic.

Less viscous, so easier to work with.
    Longer shelf life.
