first time mixing help!

hi i purchased some 'high' e-liquids from ecigs.net.nz, its a little too strong i have some pv vg (80 20) or whatever, i have been adding about 3:1 of this to try it and its a little better but obviously the flavour is diluted. i'm very new i have only been doing this for 2 days so i just wanted to know so i know as a baseline -
what are the mg strengths of their liquids from ecigs for low med high?.
most of the ones i got are high so i need to look at stepping on them a little.
i find medium to be perfect. i used to smoke 12 mg analogue so this would be my target but from what i have been reading 12 mg analogue does not equal 12 mg e liquid

The company doesnt seem to be listing what High, Medium, Low are the strengths.

Generally, High would be 24mg Medium would be 18mg and low would be 12mg.

Whilst other asian companies do High: 16mg Medium: 11mg Low: 6mg.

I assume they're not telling the consumers be.comse we'd be able to find out who they're buying through as Anlong, Dekang and Hanseng all have different MG strengths.

tbh, if you've got nicotine coming, use that till the nic comes then source some doublers. it will taste 10001 times better.

Like you I was a 12mg analogue smoker but I started out mixing at 18mg which I found a tad too strong. I now mix it down to around 15 to 16mg which seems to work ok for me. I dont chain vape on this level. I did try it at 12mg but found I wasnt satisfying the nic cravings when it was that low. What strength NIC did you order? I have found its easier to get the strength and flavour right if you order doublers (no nic) from here in.coms and get straight no flavour nic from OS.

 

That's correct; in part be.comse of the large particle size compared to smoke the nicotine uptake is different, and slower.

If you smoked 12mg cigarettes, then you might find 18mg/ml nicotine fluid to be appropriate for your use.

I was a rollie smoker for 30 years so started off at around 24mg/ml - what some companies call "extra high" and I did not miss tobacco at all for the first three weeks. Be.comse I could chain vape it, and needed to at one point, I found that it could make me ever so slightly .comseous. I dropped back to 18mg/ml and it seems to be a good fit, though I occasionally used higher level when I needed to.

Recently I've dropped the nicotine back to 16mg/ml and will leave it there for a month or so. I will know when it's time to drop another 2mg/ml but there's no pressure. Nicotine on it's own does not appear to be as addictive as cigarettes, but nor does vaping completely replace cigarettes in the first few months. The hard point for me was weeks four and five; make sure you keep some higher nic on hand for the bad spots.

As always, YMMV. This is my experience and yours may be completely different be.comse doing without tobacco affects everyone a little differently.

i ordered 48mg from e-cig, i read from vapebar i think to order this strength? is this ok?
are all flavours considered doublers? i ordered some 0nic flavours from ecigforlife but they don't state (from memory) that they are doublers. do i presume they are all doublers when mixing or are some flavours purely ready to go and just need nic added?
also i have found so many different calculators, what have you found to be the most reliable to achieve your 16mg juice

unless they specifically state that they are doublers, I would assume they are ready to vape flavours. apparently, not all overseas doublers are truly double flavoured, just a bit stronger than normal. when an canuk vendor says it's a doubler, it usually is, and is intended to be mixed 50/50 with an unflavoured nic. so when you're getting doublers, you mix it with a nic juice that is double the strength you'd want it to be. some canuk vendors sell triple shots, which you would mix 33/66 with unflavoured nic. these could be handy if you get your 48mg/ml unflavoured nic juice and find that 24mg/ml is too strong once you've mixed it with a doubler.

it's all pretty subjective when it comes to flavours. I find that some doublers are way too strong for me, and rather than mixing them 50/50, i'll mix the 25/75 or even 20/80. it'll take a bit of playing around, but you'll find what works for you soon enough

The calculator I tend to use most is this one eJuice Recipe Calculator or this one Filbert's Vaping Toolkit. Both are good. I was just having a look-see at the site you ordered your flavours from and it looks like they are no nic singles which means they are designed to be smoked as is without the benefit of nicotine. The trouble with those is that once you dilute them with your required strength of nicotine the flavour is probably going to be a little on the weak side. I am assuming this as they dont actually specify that they are doublers or concentrates but I could be wrong. There are plenty of places here in canada that you can order flavours from - check out the vendors area here on the forums. I like Juice Whore stuff personally but taste is a subjective thing.

One thing I would say about ecigforlife is that their products do appear to be somewhat pricey.

yeh ecigforlife apparently doesn't have the same chemicals as other e liquids he told me. not sure how true this is ...

 

Sounds like a load of BS to me, call it sales pitch if you want.

All good ejuice has 4 main parts or chemicals, nicotine, PG, VG & flavors.
Some juice will have a bit of alcohol in it or water & some may have PEG400 but the majority of juice has just the 4 basics. The main difference in those juices is the flavoring used, some tastes better than others.
