Use the same method for 3 or 4 or 6 different juice combos, as long as you are adding equal parts of each, Eg:

    0/100 PG/VG unflavored nic , 70/30 doubler, 100/0 plain PG, 20/80 premixed juice, 100/0 concentrated flavor, 20mls of each to make 100ml.
    So working = 0 + 70 + 100 + 100 + 20 = 290/5 = 58 PG and since the PG/VG ratio is out of 100, 100 - 58 = 42 VG.

So ratio would be 58/42 PG/VG in the above example, although it would probably have too much flavor & need to be diluted further.

Nup I'm lost. I did get kicked out of nzs equivalent of year 9 maths in high school cos as I wasn't good at it I set about to distract the class instead.

So this is how far I got, someone show me the next steps? Write it like you're teaching someone with a learning difficulty :)

Ok for a start you will have 4:3 PG/VG in the mix of 8ml & 6ml.
    So 4+3= 7.
Next you want to find out how many times 7 goes into 100, so 100/7 = 14.286
    now 4 x 14.286 = 57.15 & 100 - 57.15 = 42.85 so you have a 57.15/42.85 PG/VG ratio in that 14ml. Or 57/43 close enough.

ok, work with the totals ..

    37ml of 60:40 is .. 0.6 • 37 = 22.2 ml PG
we are adding another 8ml of pg

so total pg at the end will be 30.2ml

    the total amount of liquid will be 37 + 8 + 6 = 51ml

    so the pg result will be 30.2 / 51 = 0.592 = 59.2%

the rest has to be VG .. 40.8%

    Err ... what ??

You have 37ml of 60PG40VG, so 60% is PG = 37 x 0.6 = 22.2ml PG. You also have 8ml PG, so 22.2+8=30.2ml of PG. The total liquid is 37+8+6=51ml. 30.2/51x100=59.2% PG leaving 40.8% VG.

    Edit: Stoney ... snap :)

Work out what is in 8ml of PG & 6ml of VG combined to make 14ml you'll get the result I did.
I wasn't working with the 37ml above that in my equation, it was left out to show the ratio of the 14ml, which fifth had wrong.

Oh & stoney my maths is not wrong ;) & it's no guess.

    Or:

4:3 means 4 parts of PG to 3 parts of VG - there are (4 + 3 =7) parts all up, so to work out the fraction of PG it is 4 parts out of 7 ie. 4/7 ( = .5715 = 57.15%)

I just reread this whole thing and confused the hell out of myself.

Damn short term memory. Early onset alzheimers? Hypochondria?
