If you can get yourself some seedmans commercial cigarette concentrate you can make a pretty good tobacco base, I found this receipe on ecf and have made it a few times, its pretty good:

Hey my favorite base tobacco flavor is as follows:
10ml of ethyl maltol at 10% in PG (the PA cotton Candy) +
2 Drops of the perfumers apprentice TA +
10ml of seedmans TOB506 concentrate (the commercial flavor)

Mix that all together and use at 10%, you can add other notes to it, like nut flavors, menthol, vanilla etc...

If you dont have the seedmans, you could probably try some of the flavourart tobaccos to use instead.
I have used the flavourart Dark Vapour instead of the seedmans like this and it wasnt too bad.

FA Dark Vapour: 3%
Tobacco Absolute (diluted version): 3%
Caramel: 3%
Ethyl Maltol: 3%

Yeah wasnt sure if any vendors sold it locally, ecig-sa sell alot of the flavourart tobaccos. You could get a few and try them with that recipe. The seedmans is sort of dark colour, i get a caramel tobacco toffee type of flavour from it. Flavourart desertship might go well in that recipe if you dont like the dark vapour.

 

just ordered some desert ship and cowboy blend from ecig-sa to have a go at they sound nice

 

I like desert ship, but found cowboy smelt like an old sunscreen my mother use to put on me a kid lol. You might like it thoug, alot of others do.
If you get into diy then make sure you buy some of ecigmodshop.com.com concentrates, they are great out of the bottle. Ive only tried a few but Black and mild and old captain are fantastic mixes imo.

 

Steve have you had a go at it with the desert ship yet?

 

Yea man nice not sure how much to add
Done a 100ml mix
Used the Ethyl Maltol broke the crysals down to 10% in PG and used about 15ml
Tobacco Absolute bout 8 drops of the pure its hard to use thick sticky shit hard to get it to drip off a match stick
Desert ship 20 drops wasnt sure how much so started lite with this.
the smell very strong in the bottle but once in the mix just adds a little hint of something may be caramel undertones??
Undertones Anyway tastes nice in a 50%Vg mix

yeah, i didnt really take to the cowboy. Glad you have a vapeable juice anyhow. I usually just test in small 10ml mixes to begin with to get the amounts right. You might like the tobacco concentrates from ecigmodshop a little better than the flavourart. I find the ones ive tried so far pretty good straight from the bottle into some unflavoured nic. They are a bit sweeter smelling than the flavourart. Give "black and mild" and "old captain" a try sometime.

 

I made a 30ml batch to start with of Absolute + Maltol PG VG And its nice on its own so just adding a hint of other flavour adds to this nicely
Yea i grabbed the tobbacco blended concentrate from ecigmodshop and found it nice but very strong as well you dont need much
I guess im not used to using minimal amounts usually buy doublers or concentrates that need 10-25 %
I grab some more flavours and keep trying
I love the VK Black n gold so ill keep trying to match it probally just end up buying it off them in bulk anyway but its fun trying

Was looking at getting some Ethyl Maltol crystals be.comse i haven't tried it and wasn't sure what size to buy and was wondering how long it is lasting you and how much you seem to be using.

Thanks Cruz, that's were I was looking at getting the crystals be.comse I'm hoping they might last longer and I would be able to make the mix stronger or weaker.
Just wasn't sure how much I would be needing to buy.
