Mixing citric acid powder

    Heya guys

    I've not used it before but was wondering how u guys mix ur citric acid powder?

    How many grams per 10 ml?

    What I do and use:

    1 gram PURE Citric Acid Powder mixed in 9 grams of PG (if you prefer to use a scale for stuff).

    This provides a 10% solution in PG.

    Shake and leave for a few days, any crystals not dissolved will self-dissolve in time - this makes the most saturated solution you can without crystals reappearing.

    When using in a recipe - usually 1 drop per ml added into your ejuice bottle after you have made the recipe - more tends to dull the flavour.

    So basically 1 gram per 9 mls of PG

    Maybe the volume can vary a little depending upon temp and pressure

    @Bignormz - yep - that's it. Using the conversion rate of 1ml for 1gram of liquid will get you very close.

    Also be aware that Citric Acid is mostly only used in fruit mixes, and then there are also some restrictions on which fruits are suitable (VU forums has a guide in their DIY Liquid/Guides,Tips and Tricks/Effects of Citric Acid on Berries etc). It is usually pretty close to the top of the list. Worth a look.
