Well firstly I got all the gear off a friend of mine new

It is a aspire .comtilus mini with a Eleaf Istick 20w

It seems to be gargling a lot and seem to have the e liquid in the mouth piece a lot ?( is this bad for me?)

I was given some 24mg 50%pg 50%vg 115ml and some vaping mad doublers, so I made a mix of 15ml of the 50/50 and 15ml of the vaping mad granny grumble so from what I can gather I am using now a 12mg nic mix

Is it something I have done wrong in the mixing?
As after 4 days I felt a bit crook not sure if it's from not having a cigarette for 4 days or I stuffed the mix up ( I did get some of the 50/50 on my fingers and washed it off, was a bit worried after reading some info online that maybe Posioned my self some how)

But is it normal to get gargling often from this setup?

Is there a better setup I can buy?

As I am now on day 7 vaping and have not had a single cigarette in the 7 days, I really want to kick the cigarettes and continue vaping but am unsure for one if I am doing it right, or if I don't have the right equipment?

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks

Clean the insides of the mini next time you refill ejuice.
I usually use a tissue, roll one end and poke it inside the tip And twist away.
Then i follow the same process using another end of the tissue for the chimney of the mini (where the coil meets the tip).
Also, i clean the bottom end of the mini as soon as i take it off where the coil screws on.
You might also want to blow inwards from the tip while having a tissue handy on all 4 air holes.
Oh and the gargling can depend on how low/high your watts are.

Still don't understand after all the reading what settings I should be on

I used to smoke 20-25 smokes a day at 12mg

The quality control on replaceable coil heads can be erratic. Try a fresh coil if the problem persists.
Your math is fine. If you feel sick, try vaping a bit less or diluting your liquid further with some plain PG or VG. Where are you located? You may be able to purchase some decent VG from a local chemist or health food store.

Try what xcwizit said, if it still continues you might need to try a new coil. As far as the mixing goes what you've done is spot on. Spilling some 24mg on yourself shouldn't be an issue, its mainly higher concentrations of nicotine you need to worry about, as long as you wash it off you'll be fine.

Don't worry about poisoning yourself with 12mg, or even 24mg nicotine liquid....unless you drink the whole bottle. Nothing bad will happen if you get a little bit in your mouth, or spill some on your skin. Just wash it off, or rinse your mouth if you are worried, and you'll be fine.

You do need to be a bit more careful with 100mg strength though. And obviously, keep all nicotine liquids away from children and pets.

I haven't used a .comtilus, but gargling is a sign of the coil being flooded with liquid, or it could be that you are getting liquid in the tube when you are filling it?

xcwizit seems to have some good advice. You didn't say what location you are, but their may be a brick and mortar store near you where you can get someone to help you with gargling as well?

    Good luck! :)

I have a 1.2ohm coil in the subtank and a 0.5ohm in the subtank mini.
I can't really tell them apart for taste or clouds.
    22watts on them both.
I suppose between 20 and 30watts is fine.
    Start low and work up.
Stop if it gets too hot.

What sort of watts do you run on the 1.2 ohm on the OCC coil?

I have just upped my nic to 18mg but think I might need to go to 24 to get over the hump as tonight having a few drinks and watching the wife have a cancer stick I am tempted but I am not going to give in! So I don't know if I am not getting enough nic to keep me happy.

    Thanks Disley

I learning by the day and want to learn more as I don't want to go back to them cancer sticks even though the temptation had been there going through a bit of a hard time right now but not going to give up as I feel they were starting to hurt more and more every day.

I also have the .comtilus on the Istick 20w with 18mg nic and keep doing a swap between them to see what satisfies me, but haven't found the sweet spot yet

Thanks all for the great advise

    Thanks D1git

I'm learning but don't want the people that are just chasing clouds, only the people that have kicked the filthy habit of cancer sticks.
