So I made another mod - 18350 hybrid gennie

I've wanted a wee little hybrid genesis setup for a while, figured I may as well make one!

The mod itself is scratch machined from solid brass, it has a recessed magnetic switch & measures at 45.5mm tall on it's own.

The atty started out as a short DID clone I got from mr 308 quite a while ago.
I machined the 510 connector off & tapped a 20x1 thread on the bottom cap, shortened the tank a little bit, shortened the top cap a tad & set it up so when the top cap is screwed down tight it actually aligns with the wick.
I dug up a chamber reducer I had laying around & tweaked it a little to fit.

Came out pretty good, 1.5mm air hole, 1.15 ohm 28g build in it & it's a wee little flavour machine that packs a pretty decent punch.

In total the whole thing is 89mm tall without a DT:

I have been sussing out a couple of cheap gennies that I have here to see how I can modify them into something of a more usable size and configuration

Is the chamber reducer just a block screwed into the base to take up air space?

Can't put this Damn thing down, feel almost guilty for neglecting my side by side/kraken setup, but this thing is just so good!
Been on the piss with the missus & my bro & haven't so much as missed the kraken.
Gotta charge up a bunch of 18350 's now, this thang kicks ass!

 

Getting some dry hits tho, wick is a bit shit, didn't bother with a fresh one, just grabbed a cast off & bunged it in along with the coil that was on it.
Need to do a larger dia wick to fit the hole better & a fresh 1-1.1 ohm build.
