Here is my first batch of 'children'. I only had a 30ml doubler from VK supreme and a 15ml Doubler from evape. ---But im proud as punch.---- I just have to sit here and watch em while they 'steep'. Im getting a HEAP more doublers from VK tomorrow.. so ill be mixing up quiet a few soon. Just thought it would be nice to share with you all my first batch that im sooooo proud of. The base from RTS looks to be pretty good.. crystal clear in colour, so im guessing that is a good thing. I just have to wait to vape before i give a final verdict.
Congratulations!! Just a word to the wise? Don't get them into "Cross Dressing" Its not accepted at kindergarten!!
You can get into the supreme pretty much straight away. I usually leave it about 3 days if I make it in advance.
Even juices I make myself I vape straight away. Sometimes I will put some in a microwave for a few seconds, then give a good shake, just to help them mix up. Some juices do get a bit better after a bit of steeping but not enough to stop me trying them straight away.
Congrats on the new arrivals Some flavours need to mature like a good scotch, others you can mix and vape straight away. I had one mix that I didn't like even after several days of steeping, tried it again several months later (as I sort of forgot about it) and vaped the whole 10ml in a day.
Good on ya Ryliee...and youll find you dont even get any backchat...lol...but just like babies, they,ll change colour over time as they mature...haha...good choices mate.My drawer is overflowing with VK..
I have started using the brother p-touch labeller i bought on special a few years ago, then found that labels cost an arm and a leg and i pretty much stopped using it. it only comes with a roll of 'sample' length, refills are like $30 .. i think ipte labeller i picked up on special at woollies for $20. last night i ordered some clone label tape off ebay $9 for 28 ft .. woo.
Got something similar to that myself, I find the labels last a lot longer than the hand written stick on jobbies. I was given mine as a thank you along with a couple of rolls of tape by a grateful mate who I introduced to vaping. So I put it to good use tagging all my juice bottles
I just printed a word doc (we have a laser printer at home) cut em out and then put sticky tape over it. could prolly get all fancy and put pics or stuff in there.. but i just kept it simple.
ok.. i have come to the conclusion that using a vk doubler 50 50 is the way to go (gave me an 80pg 20vg end product).. I got all excited with my 36mg nic and made a 24mg batch. I believe it to be pg 87/ vg13 and there just aint enough vape in it... lol... I will keep experimenting as I have both 48mg 100vg nic and 180mls of VK doublers comming . The doublers i have on the way (tomorrow with a bit of luck) are 60/40. So i might see how they fare with both the 100pg and 100vg nic.. I think however with the 100 vg nic I should use a 100pg VK doubler and try out the 50/50 ratio of PG/VG.. This is soooooo exciting.. I love ordering flavour from oz (2-3 day turnaround and no hassles about customs ect) and mixing... For the record I am loving the silver bullet mod (thanks again --->cop).. It has a heap of punch and takes no BS from a freshly filled carto that sometimes needs a 'kickstart' to vape properly. Im keen to build up stocks of juice so I can start tanking with the bullet and not stress on using too much juice (the tank i have is 5ml). On the horizon, juicinator FOR SURE... then a provari mini i thinks. I love being a vaper.. and I love it here in this forum.
mmm... im actually thinking of getting another 1lt of 100pg in 48mg... lol....purely for the ease of mixing.. Now i just need to order some 100ml bottles to split it into.
I dont even label my juices anymore. Its like pot luck what ever i pick up. But i usually only have about 3 juices on the go. I finish them before i mix up more. And the VK fuss free mixes are good be.comse they are already labeled
I have 3x 30ml bottles on the go usually, each with a different colored cap, so I know what is in them. 3 Different colored DCT tanks, one for each flavor, works well, never get bored with flavors & "losing tastebuds" is rare.
